High fives offer a great way for friends and family to rejoice when something exciting happens and a hug or pat on the back just don’t quite fit the bill, and low fives are too underwhelming for the situation. But what if you could wear a device that creates the most epic of high fives each and every time?

When it comes to fashion, you know for sure that strides in this department cannot be made if no one is bold enough to experiment with new ideas. This time around, here is something that even the master of magnetism, Magneto himself, would approve. As part of Dutch Design Week, artist Jólan Van der Wiel alongside designer Iris Van Herpen have worked on a couple of dresses which were specially designed more by magnetism rather than the product of their own hands.
Why do we say this? Well, Van der Wiel has chalked up quite a history when it comes to featuring magnetism in his work. To make sure that his creations will be forged in a unique manner, he came up with something he dubbed “the gravity tool,” which would seem like an old torture device. In a nutshell, it is a housing for a bunch of magnets, and whenever a composite of iron filings and molten plastic is loaded into the gravity tool, Van der Wiel will be able to manipulate the material as it hardens. Hence, you get something like the dress that you see above. Will opposites be able to attract if your date decides to wear something as outrageous as this?

In the summer of 1927 a new fashion craze swept the nation. Called the "Lucky Lindy Lid," it was a ladies’ felt hat that came in a variety of sizes and colors. Adorned with a small propellor on the front and two miniature wings darting out on each side, it may have looked a bit ridiculous, but it celebrated an important moment in aviation history — Charles Lindbergh’s flight across the Atlantic.
A lot of dogs are just not that into dressing up for Halloween. My dog
happens to be one of those. If I put a silly costume on him, he knows
he looks silly, and he just won’t move in it. So I just choose
something simple for him to wear to the dog park for Halloween festivities –
just to show he’s in the spirit of the holiday. And you know what? He
really gets to enjoy himself.

back and look at what is missing, and take steps to pose a solution. One of the latest to cross our
radar is Garments for the Grave, and yes, the business name does
accurately describe what they offer, and its clothes are to die for.
