I am quite sure that there are many avid gamers out there who do have their fair share of questions concerning the beta, in addition to the PS3-to-PS4 transfer process when it comes to accounts. Those who do have questions concerning just who might be able to participate in the beta, or wonder whether one can use existing characters, will be able to find out in due time. Final Fantasy XIV is Square Enix’s relaunch of the Final Fantasy MMO that they launched a few years ago. The previous iteration of the game was riddled with all sorts of problems that ultimately forced Square Enix to reboot the entire game, launching Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in the process. For most gamers when it comes to playing games, we take several factors into consideration when trying to decide if the game is fun for us. Things like graphics, story, price, length, and controls are all factors worth considering, but yet there are more things to consider when you might be a gamer with a disability, such as missing limbs or limited mobility, vision or hearing.

That being said, the folks at AbleGamers have actually awarded Final Fantasy XIV their Accessible Mainstream Game of the Year, giving the game a 9.1 out of 10 when taking into consideration things like precision, one-handed gaming, accessibility for deaf gamers, subtitles, and also being able to cater to gamers who might be colorblind. It is nearly a week ago when we reported that Final Fantasy VI was about to make its way to the Android mobile operating system, and after six days, how has the experience been? One thing is for sure, I am quite confident that many people picked up this title for nostalgia’s sake, and for those who breezed through the game as memories came flooding back, they discovered much to their own chagrin that Final Fantasy VI had a game-breaking glitch. Yes sir, this 20-year old game that had been ported over to the Android platform sports a glitch that happens around 50% into the game, when you are in a fight between Kefka and General Leo in Thamasa. If our memories serve us right, Kefka was supposed to kill Leo, but he “kills” the game instead.

The Final Fantasy franchise is one that has legions of fans worldwide, and it is safe to say that many gaming platforms in the past have already featured one title from the franchise at the very least, although this is but a generalization. Now that there is more than enough processing power on the smartphone to be able to run more complex and better looking games, we are pleased to announce that Final Fantasy VI has arrived on the Android platform today in a fully remastered format.
