If you happen to reside in China and own one of the following two smartphones – the Oppo Find 7 and the Oppo Find 7a, then chances are you might be one of those folks who have seen the display on your smartphone change its color. In fact, this is no small issue, as it has grown to a sizeable “monster” so much so that Oppo has stepped forward to address it in an official statement. Oppo has acknowledged that customers currently experience a couple of issues with the handsets. Firstly, the Find 7a’s display looks to have a tinge of yellow at the bottom edge which is attributed to the uneven distribution of the light along the panel’s surface.

Secondly, the Oppo Find 7’s QHD display has issues too, as owners of the smartphone have complained that this flagship model’s display colors lean too heavily on the yellow side. While Oppo is more than ready to test and replace your Oppo Find 7a if it is found to be defective in this manner, the Find 7’s issues have been touted to be resolved in an earlier software update. When it comes to an upcoming flagship device from a company, you know for sure that there will be plenty of speculation that goes on, ranging from what it looks like all the way to the different kinds of hardware specifications underneath the hood. Oppo’s Find 7 is a pretty good example of such a situation, where in recent days it has been touted to sport a 50MP camera at the back as well as denials about such a high resolution camera to boot. Other than that, there were whispers of it costing less than half a grand. We are not here to talk about hardware specifications this time around, but rather, what the Find 7 would look like as you can see by the leaked image above.

So far, we have seen and read our fair share of rumors concerning the upcoming Oppo Find 7 which has been touted to be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress later this month, and have even compiled it in a “tell all” story. Well, we have word that the Oppo Find 7 will arrive in a couple of versions, but as to the exact nitty gritty of the difference between the two, it remains difficult to find – at least until today, as AnTuTu’s team has revealed both versions in their database. The two model numbers would be the X9007 and the X9077, where the lower model arrives with a 1080p display, while the other sports a QHD display at 2,560 x 1,600 resolution.

Chinese manufacturers of smartphones are starting to be a force to be reckoned with, and I am quite sure that in due time, some of them might even be the next Samsung or LG. Don’t laugh at this statement – I am quite sure that there were plenty of naysayers in the past that looked at Samsung when it first rolled out its mobile phones, and never really thought that it would be a world leader one day, let alone in the realm of consumer electronics. Stranger things have definitely happened in the past which could serve as a template for the future. Oppo Find 7 Release Date, News & Rumors original content from Ubergizmo.

Oppo has been making the headlines recently and one of the Chinese company’s upcoming handsets is the Oppo Find 7, which we recently found out has been confirmed to feature a 5.5” display with a 2K resolution, making them the second company to release such a device behind the Vivo Xplay 3S. Oppo has been teasing the handset for a while now and while we’re still unsure when the handset will be officially revealed, a leaked photo has started to make its rounds on the internet where it shows off what appears to be the metal frame that will be making its way into the Find 7.

While the specs of the Find 7 have been rumored for a while now, this is the first time we’re getting a glimpse at its metal frame, indicating that Oppo could be turning to more premium materials for the build of the phone, as opposed to using plastic which is common practice amongst most smartphone OEMs. The measurements of the phone confirm that the display is of the 5.5” variety, so at the very least it would seem as though this leaked component is the real deal. Based on what we know so far, the rest of the Find 7’s specs include a 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM, and a 16MP Sony Exmor camera on the back, and might possibly come with CyanogenMod preinstalled, similar to the Oppo N1. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but with CES and MWC around the corner, perhaps Oppo will share more details with us then.
