Its bright pink exterior and the words “Cupcake ATM” should probably be enough clue for people to not mistake it for your regular ATM that dispenses cash. The ATM is the brainchild of Sprinkles Cupcakes, a supplier of cupcakes who has in the past, provided cupcakes to the likes of celebrities such as Mindy Kaling (of The Office fame) and Holly Madison. Simply use the touch screen to choose from nine flavors (black & white, chocolate coconut, Cuban coffee, dark chocolate, lemon meringue, red velvet, strawberry, vanilla or vanilla milk chocolate), swipe your card to be charged $4.25 per cupcake and your tasty baked good is produced from a door next to the screen.
We get it. Our love of drinking water from disposable plastic bottles is a problem, enough of a problem that San Francisco actually wants to ban them
