I don’t know about you, but a trip to Alcatraz Island would be an enjoyable way to spend a few days away from it all. I write about animals all the time, but this week I decided to write
about party animals. Yes, humans like you and me, going to a party,

Every year I try to find a variety of pet costumes for Halloween that
show off different aspects of a pet’s personality. I have to admit that
this year’s pickings are not as rich as they were in the past; maybe
it’s the economy, but most of the costumes out in 2013 are holdovers
from past years. Though darling, they didn’t qualify for the 2013
competition. Nevertheless, we do have some great category winners, such
as Most Embarrassing, Most Suggestive, Best Little Devil, and Most
Valiant pet costumes. Seek and maybe you shall find something for your
