That might sound strange to you, but for Australian artist Andrew Baines, it sounds like just another day at the office. His living sculptures juxtapose normal people in strange and unexpected settings, usually involving sand, surf, and a healthy touch of Surrealism.

Scientists at Yonder Biology in San Diego, California, have created the first bioluminescent pet by harnessing dinoflagelltates and their bioluminescence into the shape of a little dinosaur.

5000 prototypes to one finished product. I don’t know how many
prototypes went into each of the flying machines created by the Dyson
engineers for this year’s Challenge Dyson, but they sure came up with some strange-looking ones – all made from Dyson product parts.
