Invented in 2011, by Franky Zapata, Flyboarding is a sport that allows you to fly above the water, doing flips and turns (once you’ve mastered the throttle and gathered your balance), and dive down into it only to thrust yourself out again back into the air. Badminton is silly and soft and dainty and not tennis, right? I don’t know anymore! This impossibly fast rally makes it seem like an impossibly fast sport played by humans who have impossibly fast reaction times. Even robots couldn’t see the ball and hit the ball so fast. It’s incredible.

Tinkerer Steve Hoefer found a way to put those kitschy chattering teeth toy to good use. With the help of a 555 timer chip, a servo and some soldering, you can turn the toy into a timer that automatically counts down as you start brushing.
When you remove your toothbrush from the Toothy Toothbrush Timer’s toothbrush holder, a switch activates the chattering teeth. When the teeth stop chomping, you’re done brushing. That’s all there is to it. Steve set his timer at 2 minutes and 10 seconds, but you can of course set your own time.

If your dream is to own at least a few hundred designer labels or so, then your search is over. And no, I’m not talking about some lottery where you’ll be able to afford all the brands that you want to own; rather, I’m talking about the Jeans Labels carpet.
As its name implies, the carpet is made entirely from recycled jeans’ labels. Each one is painstakingly sewn on top of another, and another, creating a carpet that looks like a patchwork of labels from brands you might recognize yourself.
Under the slogan “Recycle”, here renowned denim label were assembled in the patch-style to a beautifully finished carpet with high stability and durability. What was discarded in Western industrialized nations, awakened by the diversity of creativity back to life.
The Jeans Carpet is available in two sizes: 140x200cm and 160x240cm. They’re priced at £335 (~$560 USD) and £458 (~$760 USD) respectively.
