Scandinavians are great with languages, but Finn-Swede smoccahontas isn’t speaking any language in this video, even while it sounds like it. She’s just making up most of the words and make it sound like she is. Having travelled through almost all of these countries, I’ve to admit that she really nails it.
This is great. A genius Reddit user stitched together pictures of celebrities posing with younger versions of themselves. Think Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey was always such a fine actor? You must’ve forgot about his goofy haircut! Only remember Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale as superbly talented? They were once wide eyed boys too. And what about Jennifer Lawrence? Well, she’s still so young so she just looks like she has a twin.
For the most part, Jurassic Park isn’t the kind of movie you’d want a chance to live out, what with the mortal danger and velociraptors and all that. But thanks to the amazing Jurassic Systems website, you can experience of of Jurassic Park‘s safer thrills first-hand: getting hacked by Dennis Nedry.
Winter came and overstayed its welcome. At what point do we make like the Russians and turn our tiny crappy cars into snow plow sleds? I say the next snow. Just hop on the hood of your car and make a friend drive you through and pummel it. Winter is stupid, this type of stupid fun makes it a little less so.
Listen to super talented voice actor Brock Baker zip through 33 different Simpsons impressions in 5 minutes. His Homer takes a little getting used to but he nails a good chunk of them. There are a few that are pitch perfect (like his Fat Tony). Anyway, it all adds up to a very fun watch.
I love Bravely Default. It’s one of the best RPGs I’ve played in a long time. I had so much fun playing it that I made a mini-guide for a certain part of the game. So I headed to GameFAQs, and while I was figuring out how to write my guide I came upon this neat Easter Egg for the game. I can’t describe the trick without spoiling a major feature of the game though. You’ve been warned.
Here’s your final warning. SPOILERS INCOMING! Okay, Amigo-bot, here’s the trick. As you know, the game’s Start screen has four main options. Normally the fourth option will only be unlocked if you get the game’s “true ending”, which needless to say takes a long time to obtain. But YouTuber Shmiam found out that you can temporarily unlock that option by entering the Konami Code. More specifically, at the Start Screen, point the cursor to the fourth option then enter the code. The contents of that option are shown in Shmiam’s video as well, so you might want to stop watching after he demonstrates the trick.
I already got the fourth option before I found out about this trick, so I can’t verify if it works. That said, when I tried it I also heard the exact same sound effect that Shmiam got. Switch to the Browser Job and head to GameFAQs if you want further assurance that the code works.
Growing up, I never wanted Cyclops’ optic blast or Wolverine’s adamantium claws or Magneto’s power over magnetic fields, I wanted to throw cards like Gambit. I don’t know if that makes me an unimaginative little kid who only dreamt about realistic powers but I do know I spent many summer days throwing cards at everything. Sadly, I never grew up to be like Gambit. This guy, comedian Javier Jarquin, did though. Watch him throw playing cards with incredible accuracy and enough strength to break glass.
Of course, this insano knife-throwing video is not real—after all, these guys are not Russian. But the fake is so well made that you’ll swear it is real. I went through it frame by frame and you can’t notice the trick. Clever.
Whether you are a master chef or a bacon-craving amateur, cooking is a part of your life. However, there is always room for improvement, and inventors around the world are constantly thinking of new culinary concepts to make the kitchen less intimidating and more fun. These new concepts and clever products will make the chef in all of us reach for our measuring cups!
I love John Conway’s dinosaur illustrations, which you can buy on his site. His dinosaur pet guide is a lot of fun too—and you can buy it as a poster for $16.
