If ‘Game of Thrones’ Characters Had Online Dating Profiles

In an alternate universe, the characters from Game of Thrones are all alive and kicking. Imagine if they took a break from all that scheming and fighting and decided to live normal lives like ours.

I don’t think they’ll have much difficulty finding mates of their own, but if they ever decided to try online dating, then Team Pwnicorn has got them covered.

Game of Thrones Dating Profiles” is the newest series by Team Pwnicorn and it’s hilarious, as most of their parodies often are.

Don’t count any of the characters out, because even The Wall has a profile made up especially for him/her/it. You can check out the rest of the profiles in the gallery below.

‘Dumb Ways to Die’ Print Ads

There are many stupid ways to do yourself in, and advertising agency McCANN has turned a bunch of them into colorful and completely adorable posters for public consumption.

Dumb Ways to Die

Remember the animated PSA Australia’s Metro Trains released over half a year ago? The catchy clip got over 50 million views and featured the same cheery characters singing about dumb ways to die in an effort to make people more conscious of their surroundings and safety when they’re at the train station.

The PSA was part of an effort by Metro Trains to reduce the number of train-related deaths.

Dumb Ways to Die3 300x250
Dumb Ways to Die2 300x250
Dumb Ways to Die1 300x250

I think they make that point across very well. There are really so many dumb ways to die – you just have to make sure you’re not dumb enough to die in such a manner – or you might end up a posthumous recipient of a Darwin Award.

Cat Fighter: Feline vs. Feline

When cats fight, it’s best that you steer clear and let them resolve the issue themselves. I don’t know about you, but I’m not too eager to step in between a cat fight, especially when the claws are out.

The Pet Collective put a pretty interesting twist to cat fights that you will no doubt find amusing, and it’s called Cat Fighter.

Cat Fighter

It’s a catty parody of the video game Street Fighter, and it’s excellently done, if you ask me. Instead of Ken and Ryu, we’ve got Ren and Kyu (see what they did there?) They’ve got nothing but their claws and sheer ferocity to fight their battles with.

Ken and Ryu rivalry is re-imagined on a feline level. See these Kittens hash it out in some retro SNES fashion.

Most cats probably can’t do the high jumps and backflips that you see Ren and Kyu doing, but hey, this is a parody after all.

On a side note, I find it extremely amusing to see a 5-Year Q&A journal in the center of the fighting arena, since I have the exact same one on my desk right now. Maybe I can host my own Cat Fighter tournament here when my sister visits and brings her kitties with her next week, eh?

These Stockings Give You Instantly Hairy Legs

Hairy legs are a huge turnoff. It might be annoying, since you feel compelled to shave or wax every so often, but you could also use that fact to your advantage.

For instance, if you’re headed to a place where you know a lot of dudes (or dudettes, even) might possibly hit on you, then all you have to do is pull on a pair of these hairy leg stockings.

Hairy Leg Stockings

They’re covered in thick, bushy hair that looks like they haven’t been waxed off (or even washed!) for decades. They look pretty gross, but that’s the point, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, while this image has been making the rounds on the interwebs, there’s little information about the actual product or its availability. Here’s an idea though: you can make some yourself, if you really want to. Just use your imagination. I think you can think of something fairly easily.

Hell is Other People: Antisocial Media

There are times in your life where you just want to be in the company of yourself. Unfortunately, you can’t choose to avoid people when they’re already there, right in front of you, and it’s just rude to walk on by without saying hi or exchanging pleasantries at that point.

Social media is all about getting social and being with people – at least virtually. Antisocial media is the opposite of that, and Hell is Other People is a product of an experiment based on this concept by Scott Garner.

hell is other people map

Hell is Other People is basically a web app that uses data from your Foursquare account to check and determine the current location of your friends, family, and other contacts. It will then map out a route for you that avoids any place where people you know are checked in.

It truly is an app for the antisocial.

Scott did a test run on the app when he took a walk in Manhattan following the “safe zones” marked by Hell is Other People. You can check out what happened (and whether the app was right or not) in the clip above.

The Candy You Drink Straight from the Toilet

You probably wouldn’t let your dog drink out of your toilet, but did you know that there are actually people out there who would eat out of a toilet?

Not out of a regular toilet, of course, but out of the Moko Moko Mokoletto. If you say it again and again fast enough, it’s almost like a tongue twister…

Bubbly Japanese Toilet Candy

Anyway, the Moko Moko is actually a toilet-themed candy from Japan, where most awesome, weird, and unusual things seem to orginate.

The pack comes with a plastic toilet and a pack of candy. The miniature toilet is first assembled, and then the flavored candy powder is added to the toilet’s tank with water in order to activate it. You, the candy eater, are then supposed to sip the bubbly candy concoction from the toilet. Yum.

The clip above was posted by RRcherrypie, who describes the experience on his blog (translated): “Idea of the product is great, taste is OK. Made of toilet put the water from the tank actually is good. Place in Bathroom own Dollhouse of (1/12 scale). Chloro to look at the toilet was clogged …. Head, I keep clean …!”

There are four different colors of miniature toilets to choose from. Moko Moko product information is available here.

This Week’s Top Comedy Video: Much Ado About Cast Interviews

Let’s face it; Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing probably won’t find the same billion-dollar box office success of The Avengers. But if this contribution of totally real cast interviews from co-stars BriTANick is any indication, it’ll be a whole heck of a lot funnier.

Looking for an adult friend in your area? No? Yeah, neither am I, but that’s not going to stop those annoying ads from popping up on your screen without warning when you’re visiting certain websites.

Injecting a lot of humor and making fun of these websites is the Adult Cat Finder.

It might have a slightly alarming name that might put you off, but don’t let its name fool you. In fact, I would suggest that you take it quite literally, because this little “widget” will find you hot local cats in your area.

Check out the Adult Cat Finder yourself and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

The “service” was created by Fountain LA and it puts Kitten on a Keyboard in the spotlight.

Crochet the Change You Want to See in the World

Pulling the strings of New York artist Olek will only give you more questions to answer. Her crochet-based installments and art are riddles wrapped in a mystery inside….well, yarn. She tries to untie the knots of society and unwind her own self-expression as an artist by weaving her journey into her work.

Snapcat for Android: Because Cats Want to Take Selfies, Too

Cats are techie creatures. From playing games to wearing headphones (okay, so this was just an April Fools’ Day joke, but hey, I can totally see it happening), cats can do it all.

And now a developer has created an app intended for use by your frisky kitty so it can take its own selfies.

Snapcat

It’s aptly called Snapcat and it’ll snap pictures of your cat based on its movements. Once the app is fired up, a red dot appears on the screen. You cat will, in theory, be attracted to the red dot and will attempt to take a swipe at it. This swiping motion triggers the front-facing camera, which then takes a candid shot of your cat.

Once the photo has been taken, you can apply filters or add stickers to the image. When you’re done, you can share the image on social networks like EyeEm, Facebook, and Twitter – with the approval of your cat, of course. You can even post a snap on your cat’s Social Petwork page, if it has one.

Snapcat can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
