This Syma RC Cobra Helicopter Is Your Don’t-Mess-With-Marines-And-Their-Toy-Gyros Deal of the Day [Dealzmodo]

I have never flown an RC Helicopter before. I’ve ridden in several actual helicopters, but I’ve never actually flown the toy versions. They look like a lot of fun. This 39% off Syma RC Marine Cobra Helicopter Gyro looks pretty serious, too, though. It doesn’t want you messing around, but it’ll fly anywhere you want to go. Sort of wish this one came with some Nerf missiles that shoot out of it. That’d just make it perfect for flying through some unsuspecting neighbor’s open window. I imagine I would end up crashing this helicopter more often than I would land it properly. It seems pretty durable. I mean, it’s got words like “Marines” and “Force” and “Warning” plastered across it, so that means it’s tough, right? More »

This Race Course Set Is Your Change-It-Up Deal of the Day [Dealzmodo]

Race car tracks have been around for ages, and sometimes you have to change things up to stay relevant. Lucky for race car tracks, they’re really easy to change up! Especially this Race Course Set that configures into 263 different layouts. I haven’t played with it myself, but the loops in the image look amazing, and if it’s as flexible as they say then that would make for some really fantastic track configurations. Considering this track has been discounted by 23%, you could buy a few of them, hook them altogether and make an awesome video like this if you wanted. More »

Hey kiddies! Are you enjoying your summertime? The sun, the games, the school break, the pool… Ah, it’s a good time to be a kid! So how about a new toy? Everyone loves toys! And this $27 Mega Rig Shark Ship Set (regularly $60) comes with an evil-looking shark with glowing red eyes and jaws ready to clamp down on your leg! There’s also a ship—an oddly modern ship with harpoons, cranes and apparently an air control tower. For the non-existent flight deck. In case you want to call in an air strike on the shark. This 24-inch LG LCD Monitor Is Your LG’s-Logo-Looks-Like-Pac-Man Deal of the Day [Dealzmodo]

My desktop computer is one I put together myself back in 2008. I was stationed in Greece and I didn’t really have much else to do. I haven’t updated it much since then, and it’s definitely due, but I like it. The thing I really liked about it was how cheap it ended up being. I didn’t pay as much as I was expecting to and because of that I splurged a little extra on the monitor. I already had a monitor I was going to use but it was small and old. The thought of getting a 24″ monitor seemed ridiculous! I was very excited. There was an obvious jump in price between even a 23″ and a 24″ then, so I think most people with my money would just settle. That one inch felt like all the power in the world. Hopefully for someone out there, this 24″ LG LCD Monitor can offer the same level of excitement. More »
