Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Release Expected Next Month

Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Release Expected Next Month

Samsung’s habit of releasing multiple variants of one product is well known. The number of variants differ across regions, but there are always a couple of variants that are released in succession after the product is rolled out for the very first time. Amid mounting rumors that the company might be working on Galaxy Note 3 Lite and Galaxy Grand Lite, the folks at Sammobile have heard from s source that Samsung might release a Galaxy Tab 3 Lite variant next month, January 2014.

The source hasn’t offered any details about the specifications, however it is said that the Galaxy Tab 3 will be the cheapest tablet that Samsung has ever produced, expected price is 100 euros. The existence of this tablet doesn’t seem impossible, given the fact that Samsung is expected to focus more on low-end devices and tablets next year. Both Wi-Fi and 3G variants of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite are expected to be offered, Cream White color is said to be rolled out first in the second week of 2014, with the 3G model being released in the third week and black color option for both models being released in the fourth and sixth weeks of 2014, respectively. The timeframe is said to be tentative, so even if Samsung does intend to release the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite in 2014, it might not launch them in January. No official confirmation has been received as yet from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Arriving On Sprint 11th October

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Arriving On Sprint 11th OctoberIf you were looking for an affordable tablet, Sprint has announced that starting on the 11th of October, customers will be able to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. The tablet will be offered for an extremely affordable $49.99, but it will require the customer to sign a new two-year contract with Sprint or as an upgrade. The tablet will be offered in both black and white finishes, although the white version will be the only version available at the start, with the black version of the tablet expected to arrive in time for the holidays. However it should be noted that the price tag of $49.99 is mentioned as a introductory price, meaning that the price could go up in the future so if you’re after a tablet, you should probably hurry to take advantage of this price.

As far as hardware specs are concerned, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is not best tablet in the market, but we expect it should be more than capable of getting the job done. It will feature a 7” 1024×600 display, a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, sport a 3.15MP rear-facing camera, 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD, a decently-sized 4,000mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running on board. Like we said it’s not the most powerful Android tablet on the market, but if you’d rather not shell out more money for better hardware, this would be one of your options.

Galaxy Tab 3 Gets Logitech Keyboard And Protective FoliosDo you collect dolls and like to dress them up? Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Review

    Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Review

Samsung didn’t just release a 10.1-inch version of its Galaxy Tab 3 as they released their latest tablet in an 8.0 and 7.0 version. Along with the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 3 we were lent for our review, Samsung also supplied us with the 8-inch version. Both tablets have many similarities, but ultimately, we wanted to treat both products as their own version considering how many people would be looking at either Galaxy Tab 3 to potentially purchase.

One of the most obvious differences between the 10.1-inch and 8.0-inch variants are its size. Aside from that, the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, is available with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 5MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 4,450mAh battery. Some of the specs are an improvement over the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, while others are slightly under, but for the most part, both the 10.1-inch and 8-inch variants are very similar.

Will the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 perform better than the ho-hum 10.1-inch version? There’s only one way to find out, and that’s by continuing on with our review. (more…)
