Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (GT-P3200) Spotted On GLBenchmark

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (GT P3200) Spotted On GLBenchmarkWe’ve heard rumors of a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, heck we’ve even seen it caught on camera (allegedly), but here is more proof of the tablet which is rumored to be unveiled at MWC 2013. Spotted on GLBenchmark is the Samsung GT-P3200 which is supposedly the 7/8” version of the Galaxy Tab 3. According to the results, we can expect the tablet to feature a 1280×800 display resolution along with a Mali-400MP GPU and a processor clocked between 200-1,500Mhz which isn’t really much to go on, but at the very least confirms that the device exists. Now some of you might recall that Samsung has two versions of the Galaxy Tab 3 – a 7” version and a 10.1” version, but as we reported last time, Samsung supposedly scrapped plans for the 7” version, choosing to focus on the 10.1” version instead, so either these benchmarks can be completely disregarded or perhaps Samsung has a change of heart. Either way we will know more at MWC 2013 and we will also be there ourselves, so if you’re interested in finding out what other mobile devices Samsung has up their sleeves, check back with us then for the details!

Next Generation Samsung Galaxy Tablets Confirmed

next gen tabs Next Generation Samsung Galaxy Tablets ConfirmedSamsung is certainly casting a really, really wide net when it comes to the amount of smartphones and tablets which they will be introducing to the market later this year. First of all, we have confirmation that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (which will obviously be the successor to the Galaxy Tab 2) will be coming our way, as it has been confirmed by Samsung’s very own UAPROF (User Agent Profile) files.

Apart from that, we have new information that the UAPROF files of the Samsung GT-P3200, GT-P5200 and GT-P8200 are made available. Needless to say, some juicy details can be garnered from these UAPROF files, and using our powers of deduction, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0”/8.0” will rely on a screen resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels (bah, no High Definition here!) while the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1” will have a more respectable pixel count of 1280 × 800. As for the cream of the crop, the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, that will have a monster screen resolution of 2560 × 1600 that is the equivalent as that of the Nexus 10. Image courtesy of PhoneArena.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Spotted In The Wild

galaxy tab 3 Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Spotted In The WildThe tablet race is far from finished, and when it comes to Samsung, they seem to adopt a rather wide and inclusive approach. Basically, the South Korean company is looking to include just about anyone and everyone into their fold, hence a wide array of devices to cater for just about everybody. Having said that, the Galaxy Tab series of tablets have been a success in their own right, and there were already rumors of the Galaxy Tab 3 flying around in recent memory, but here we are with a leaked image of it thanks to the folks over at PhoneArena.

The Galaxy Tab 3 is said to come in two different sizes, that is, 7″ and 10″ models, but then it has been discovered that the 7” model could very well have been removed from the pipeline. Well, one thing’s for sure, we will not be able to have the full picture until Samsung themselves step forward with an official word on the issue. Thing is, what you see here are leaked images of the Galaxy Tab 3 in their blurry glory, so take them in before it is officially unveiled at most probably, Mobile World Congress that is happening next month in Barcelona, Spain.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Rumored To Be Priced Starting From $149

Samsung galaxy tab2 10 1 05 Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Rumored To Be Priced Starting From $149About a week ago we reported that rumors had suggested that Samsung will be unveiling a trio of new Galaxy Tabs at MWC 2013, and that they had been given the codenames Santos, Roma and Kona. Now one of the three tablets will apparently be called the Galaxy Tab 3, a bit odd considering that Samsung typically uses the numbers in their naming schemes to indicate its size, i.e. Galaxy Tab 7, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and so on. However considering that we have yet to hear from Samsung, we guess these names could be subject to change. Anyway back to the topic – according to a report by Digitimes, they are reporting that their sources have tipped them off to the fact that the Galaxy Tab 3 could cost a mere $149, with the higher-end model going for an extremely affordable $199.

If you remember our previous article did state that the Galaxy Tab 3 could come in two models – 7” and 10”, although last time it was rumored that Samsung was rethinking its 7” model. Specs of the alleged Galaxy Tab 3 remain unknown at this point in time, with rumors suggesting a 5MP rear-facing camera, WiFi/3G connectivity with 32GB/64GB options. No word on processor, display resolution, RAM and which version of Android it is expected to run, but assuming that the rumors are true, we guess we will have to wait until MWC 2013 to find out. Until then we suggest taking this with a grain of salt.
