There have been quite a few rumors recently about Samsung’s upcoming tablets. Apparently the company had a new lineup of mid-range tablets up its sleeve, the refreshed Galaxy Tab 4, Samsung stylised it as Tab4. Today the refreshed lineup has officially been announced, it comes in 7-, 8-, and 10.1-inch display sizes. Since priority is to keep the price low, specifications are modest at best.

Samsung is expected to focus a lot more on tablets this year. It did show off some new tablets at CES 2014 in January, and it seemed possible for the company to do the same at MWC 2014. That didn’t happen though. A month before MWC three models of the Galaxy Tab 4 showed up online. The timing led many to believe that the tablets would be unveiled at Unpacked 5, but they weren’t. Now the 10-inch and 8-inch models of Galaxy Tab 4 have surfaced, alleged benchmarks reveal the specifications they might have.

What did you think about Samsung’s experience at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress that happened in Barcelona, Spain? I am quite sure that some Samsung watchers out there were not too happy that there was only one new addition to their Android-powered family of devices announced, which was the new flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S5. Well, apart from that, there was also the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, and Gear Fit to boot, but what about a new tablet that might continue pushing the proverbial envelope for the South Korean company?
