Game Of Thrones Vines From Season 4 Trainer

Are you a huge fan of the Game of Thrones miniseries? Are you extremely intrigued by what goes on in each episode, and there are plenty of subplots as well as twists within so much so that it can be pretty difficult trying to figure out who does what next. This shows that the miniseries itself is a triumph in writing and storytelling, as it rivets you to the edge of your seat without much effort. Having said that, I am quite sure that plenty of people are curious to find out just what season four of Game of Thrones has in store for the masses.

While we are aware that the first official trailer for season 4 of Game of Thrones will air on HBO in just a couple of days’ time, that is, January 12, before the series premiere of the new HBO drama, True Detective comes on, patience might not necessarily be the strongest suit in some of you. Hence, why not take a sneak peek of what is to come with the technology known as Vine? Several Vines have already been created to give you a better idea on the season four trailer, and it will include show footage. As to whether spoilers are contained within, we do not think so, but see this as more of an appetizer.

Most Pirated Show Of 2013 Was Game Of Thrones

Most Pirated Show Of 2013 Was Game Of Thrones

HBO’s Game of Thrones is a very popular TV series, there is no denying that fact. We often get to hear exactly how popular this series is when it smashes all piracy records. Earlier this year we reported that Game of Thrones season 3 finale had become the top BitTorrent download and also the most pirated show in the U.S. “sprint season.” So it shouldn’t come as surprise to see that this very series has turned out to be the most pirated show of 2013. It has actually held on that title for two years in a row.

AMC came in second and third, its insanely popular series Breaking Bad was at No.2 with the series finale being downloaded illegally over 4.2 million times. Breaking Bad was trailed by AMC’s The Walking Dead, another hit series, which saw roughly 3.6 million downloads for an episode that hasn’t been named. The Big Bang Theory, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Suits, Homeland, Viking and Arrow complete the rest of the list, released by the folks at TorrentFreak. Sure there has been a lot of hue and cry about online piracy and how these illegal downloads are costing studios an insane amount of money, its safe to say that the pirates aren’t going away anytime soon.

    The 10 Most-Pirated TV Shows of 2013

Another year comes to a close, and another year of gratuitous television show pirating is in the bag. Who wins the award for the most illicit views? According to numbers from TorrentFreak, Game of Thrones keeps the crown for the second year in a row by a hefty margin. At 5,900,000 downloads, it beats (fantastic) runner up Breaking Bad by almost two mil.

Game of Thrones is the Most Pirated Show of 2013: The FBI is Coming

The list of the most pirated shows of 2013 has been published and the show at the top is a repeat from last year. According to the list compiled by TorrentFreak, Game of Thrones was the most pirated show of 2013. The show had an estimated 5.9 million downloads compared to an estimated 5.5 million viewers on TV. That means more people pirated the show than watched it on HBO.

Rounding out the top ten list in order are Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Suits, Homeland, Vikings, and Arrow.

More people pirated Homeland than watched it on TV as well. It’s cool to see Arrow on the list, that is one of my favorite shows and I just started watching it on Netflix. Of course, while the level of piracy is flattering, keep in mind that it’s us paying subscribers who actually fund these amazing productions.

Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke to Play Sarah Connor in Terminator: Genesis

If you have ever watched Game of Thrones on HBO, you’re probably familiar with Daenerys Targaryen,  Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi herself, played by Emilia Clarke. Word is that she will next be playing a pivotal roll in one of the coolest sci-fi movie franchises ever, Terminator.

Clarke will reportedly be playing Sarah Connor. The choice of Clarke for the part makes sense considering that Terminator: Genesis is being directed by Alan Taylor, who is heavily involved with Game of Thrones. According to IMDB, the role of John Connor will be played by Jason Clarke (Brotherhood, Zero Dark Thirty) with Arnold returning to the franchise.

This is particularly interesting to me since Lena Headey played Sarah Connor on the short lived, underrated Fox series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, since Headey plays Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones. I wonder if Arnold will play the Terminator in the new film, he’s a bit old and not as ripped as he was in the 80′s. Why not keep it in the Game of Thrones Family and get Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo to be the Terminator?

When You Play the Game of Thrones Video Game, You Win or You Die

I mentioned yesterday when I came across those the sweet Game of Thrones house sigil snowflakes that I had just started watching the series. I’m quite hooked now and I think it’s great news that a video game based on the epic HBO series is coming. The game is coming from Telltale Games, the company behind the episodic game The Walking Dead, and the Sam and Max adventures among others.

Telltale isn’t offering up much in the way of details, other than to say it is partnering with HBO on the game. That means the game will be official, and it better be good. Telltale had great success with the episodic game based on The Walking Dead, hopefully the Game of Thrones game is just as good.

If that video game isn’t enough to get you excited, Telltale has also announced an episodic game based in the Borderlands universe. The game is called Tales from the Borderlands. It will follow characters we know from Borderlands 2 and new characters.

Both games are landing sometime in 2014, and will be available on PC, Mac, mobile, and game consoles.

Game of Thrones House Sigil Snowflakes: Paper Cuts are Coming

I resisted watching any of Game of Thrones for a long time before getting bored a few weekends ago and firing up HBO on Demand. I am now hooked on the show and am dying to finish the first couple of seasons so I know everything that’s going on. If you are a fan of Game of Thrones with a steady hand and a sharp X-Acto, we have a papercraft project for you.

A group of patterns has turned up for paper snowflakes made in eight house sigils from the Game of Thrones universe. The patterns are offered at no cost via artist Krystal Higgins and they are very cool. Some of them are very complex looking, particularly the Lannister snowflake. The Baratheon flake also looks very challenging with its intricate stag horns. The Targaryen snowflake looks like it’s ready to breathe fire.

You can grab the patterns and instructions here. They’d all look great hanging on your wall.
