Fan Made Pokémon Hoodies: What? Sweater is Evolving!

deviantART member Shori Ameshiko is a Pokémon stitcher like no one ever was. She’s been making what she calls Pokéhoodies for a couple of years now, but she recently went viral with her Bulbasaur hoodie, which comes with a bulb-shaped backpack.

Then she followed that up with a Squirtle hoodie. Yep, it has a turtle shell backpack. Check out her other Pokéhoodies below:

Sadly, I think Shori makes the hoodies for herself only and not for commissions. Why? Because she makes the hoodies out of Pokémon skin. She’s a Pocket Monster Hunter. Nah, it’s probably because she doesn’t want to get sued by Game Freak. Check out Shori’s deviantART page for more of her work.

NES Fabric: Time to Decor8-Bit

Gamers looking to redecorate their homes should definitely consider making some curtains or pillows out of this awesome fabric.

8 bit fabric 1

It’s called “8-Bit Columns,” and it’s clearly inspired by elements from the original Nintendo 8-bit game console. I see the D-Pad, RCA video, audio and RF outputs, as well as some controller ports and some turbo buttons from the NES Advantage controller.

8 bit fabric 2

It’s the perfect fabric for any Nintendo fanatic. It sells for $18(USD) a yard over on I Like Meat’s (yes I do too) Etsy shop. You’ll also find other accent prints, like this grid made up entirely out of D-Pads:

Improbability Art Series Transforms Everyday Objects into Unusable Objects

One-eyed sunglasses? Square un-rolling pins? Keyboards with pins sticking out of them? These are just some of the things that Italian artist Giuseppe Colarusso has transformed for his very unusual series called Improbability, where everyday objects are turned into their highly unlikely counterparts.

Improbability1

There would be little to no use for these objects, especially since some of them could literally put a hole into each and every one of your fingertips. It makes for a fun art series, though.

The one with the pills is perhaps the most chilling of them all.

Despicable Bricks: Teen Builds 24,000 Brick LEGO Minion

You might remember Evan Bacon from such LEGO masterpieces as his Superman, Batman and Iron Man. Now he has set his sights on the Minions from the Despicable Me movies.
lego minion 3 Evan made this awesome model all by himself. No help from Minions here. All together it has about 24,000 bricks and weighs about 120 pounds. It was built live at the Rooster Teeth convention in Austin, TX and is a tribute to Despicable Me 2.

I’ll tell you what’s not despicable. This guy’s talent. Now that he has a Minion, who knows what he can accomplish. OneMminion always leads to another. And another. And another. Soon Evan will be building armies of cool LEGO creations with their help.

LEGO Cthulhu Will Destroy Your Sanity

When you cast your eyes upon LEGO Cthulhu you will lose any sanity that you have left. It is simply pure evil and awesome to behold. It will leave you a drooling quivering mess that is better off dead. But, hey, don’t let that stop you. It’s an amazing geek creation.

LEGO cthulu

This custom LEGO sculpture debuted at Bricks by the Bay recently and was made by Carl Merriam. It took 1,400 bricks, and he actually made it look frightening. All of the details are stunning. It took around 30 hours to complete.

The ancient one has awakened and he is amazingly awesome. Even in brick form. Great job Carl. Don’t sleep with the lights off.

Thor Mjölnir Bookend Lets You Hammer in the Library

Thor’s mighty hammer can take down enemies and destroy massive structures with a single swing. But now it can also be used to keep your bookshelf tidy too.

thor hammer bookend

Gentle Giant’s upcoming Thor’s Hammer Bookend keeps your bound Marvel anthologies and graphic novels standing tall and looking proud on your bookshelf.

This cast-polystone bookend will ship sometime Q2 2014 for $99(USD). I think I’d put a large Loki figurine on the other end.

Double-barrel Pistol-grip Sawed-off Shotgun BBQ Grill: The Smoking Gun

Bang! Your meat is done. This sawed-off shotgun grill is the manliest grill you will see all day. Just load your meat up in the chamber and start cooking.
shotgun grill
This grill smokes out of both barrels as if you just fired. And you did. You fired a shot full of smoky delicious flavor. It takes a five gallon tank of fuel in the pistol grip – this one time it’s okay to mix guns and propane tanks. It also has some nice wide wheels for your next beach party in the sand.

shotgun grill1
It will only cost you $9,550(USD) from California artist firesculptureart. As far as I’m concerned, that’s a bargain for a huge sawed off shotgun that cooks meat and smokes out of the barrels. And if shotguns aren’t your weapon of choice, they offer a few other gunshaped BBQ grills.

N64 Controller Pillow: Zzzz Trigger

Artist/Nintendo fan/Sleep gamer Donna Marie Evans made her own Nintendo 64 controller pillow. It’s made of polar fleece and cotton and has embroidered letters and buttons. Now Donna can do a barrel roll in her sleep.

Donna said she might be able to sell copies of the pillow if she gets hold of more materials. Send her a note on her deviantART page if you want one. And while you’re there, ask her to make an N64 console bed!

Transformers Fougassee Bread Loaves: Baked Goods in Disguise

While Autobots and Decepticons get their power from Energon, us humans still have to eat food. And what better way to keep your day going but with some delicious carbs!

transformers bread loaves

Thanks to our pal Chris-Rachael Oseland, the Transformers are ready to get in our belly once and for all. She based these Autobot and Decepticon logo breads on that pull-apart bread known in culinary circles as Fougassee.
