If you want to be cool like Boba Fett, it isn’t easy. You need an awesome ship, a bounty hunting license, some really rad armor and a backpack with jets. You are also going to want a pair of cool sunglasses for when you are sitting on the beach relaxing after a tough job.

These awesomely Boba Fetted-out sunglasses match Fett’s Mandalorian armor with an overall green color scheme, along with some yellow and burgundy accents. They even have Fett’s Mandalorian and bounty hunter symbols all over. Fett may be tough, but even he needs UV protection from Tatooine’s dueling suns. These stylish sunglasses have it.

A company called Skully Helmets has unveiled a new and very cool helmet called the Skully P1. This helmet is notable because it has an integrated rearview camera that shows what’s behind the rider on a small heads up display in the visor of the helmet. That rearview camera provides a 180-degree view of what’s behind the wearer.

The helmet is also able to pair to smartphones and offers voice controls for calls, music, and turn-by-turn navigation directions. The helmet uses the something Skully calls their Synapse HUD, which appears to float 20 feet in front of the rider’s field of view. The overlay is persistent and has two views for the rider to choose from. One of the views is a standard rearview camera mode and the other offers detailed turn-by-turn navigation.

The helmet runs on internal battery good for nine hours of use per charge. The helmet is powered by the Android operating system and the company plans to launch an SDK next year allowing developers to make apps specifically for the helmet. In addition to all of it’s high tech chops, the helmet meets DOT and ECE safety standards. Pricing and a release date is unannounced at this time.

You read that right, there’s no Shepard design. I think a Grunt and Wrex combo hoodie would’ve been great too. Perhaps if business takes off RetropopsugarUK will add more designs.

I’ve been waiting for this for about a year, and finally, Nike has announced the release of a sneaker that will combine Flyknit technology with a full Air Max cushioning. Now this will be one comfortable sneaker.

If you’re a runner and you like to have lots of support, or if you just like to feel the “bouncy” response of a full-sized air cushion, then you’ve probably gotten to know the Nike Air Max. Recently, Nike has worked on integrating Flyknit technology with its Lunarlon soles to create the Flyknit Air Max. Finally, they’ve combined my two favorite Nike technologies into one sneaker.

The Flyknit upper uses a single thread to weave a very lightweight shell.

This will be a very lightweight sneaker and it will be launched January 3, 2014. Pricing has yet to be announced.

There are plenty of activity trackers around to get the job done to track physical activity, and most of them aren’t cheap. For the more budget-conscious, there’s the newly released Fitbug Orb, which looks like it could be a good option.

The Orb is quite discreet. You can wear it on your wrist, belt, a lanyard, or have it clipped on. It works as a pedometer, tracks aerobic steps, time, distance, calories burned, speed, and even sleep.

Up front, the Fitbug Orb costs less than half than the more costly alternatives, however after the first 12 months, you’ll have to spend $3.99 a month if you want to keep using the online tracking service at fitbug.com and access their coaching plans. Of course, in 12 months, the next hot fitness gadget might be out and you will have gotten a year’s use for under $50 total. Not bad.

The model that will be released works only with iOS devices, at least for now. The Fitbug Orb retails for $49.99(USD) and is available for pre-order for late 2013 delivery.
