Do you ever wonder how you spend your time, relative to the rest of world? While you’re bumming around, the vast majority might be working. While you’re eating, some might be getting ready to work out.

Giving you some perspective on how you spend – and maybe waste – your time is the Average Days watch by Mr. Jones.

Mr. Jones is one of my favorite watchmakers because they constantly come up with unusual designs that make you look twice. In this case, they’re making you think twice as well.

The face of the Average Days watch follows a 24-hour format. As the disc turns, a small slot reveals the most common activity that people usually do at that particular time. This information was obtained from data compiled by the Centre For Time Use Research, so they’re not just tasks lifted from some random person’s daily routine.

Only 100 pieces of the watch have been made. Average Days is currently available online from Mr. Jones Watches for £145 (~ $231 USD)

Scarves keep you all snug and bundled up when the winds are a-blowing, but what about when it rains? You can wrap it around and over your head, but you’ll still get soaked through. That is, unless you have a RainScarf.

First and foremost, the RainScarf is a scarf. But when it rains, you can also quickly transform it into a hoodie of sorts. Just remove it from your neck and flip it inside out from either end. And voilà!

You’ve got a hoodie you can wear and something waterproof to cover yourself with while you run to find some shelter.

The RainScarf is available in pink gem and slate gray, so there’s one for the girls and one for the guys (but remember: real men wear pink.) It’s currently up for funding on Kickstarter through November 8th, where a minimum pledge of $24(USD) will get you one of your very own.

If you’re a procrastinator like me you probably haven’t even thought about what you’re going to dress up as for Halloween yet. Don’t fear, there are still plenty of cool costumes out there that you won’t be embarrassed to wear to a Halloween party. ThinkGeek has some cool Borderlands masks that will make you look like a character from one of the coolest video games franchises around.

Two different masks are available including the iconic psycho bandit or Handsome Jack. Both masks are made of latex. The masks are held on the face using an elastic band. The Psycho Bandit also has elastic over the top of the head to help keep it in place.

Both masks are available right now for $29.99(USD). The mask is all you get, so you’ll have to come up with the rest of the costume on your own. If you go with the Psycho Bandit, you’ll probably need a bald wig, some LED eyeballs, a buzz-axe prop and six-pack abs to complete the look. On the other hand, all you need for Handsome Jack is a dapper hairdo and a suit.

Despite being one of the most frustrating games ever made, Operation was also one of my favorite board games as a child. Perhaps it was because it helped introduce me to the world of medical science, or simply the possibility that the game could give you a mild shock. Either way, it’s always been a lots of fun.

The next time you’re cooking, you can reminisce about the many times you caused your patient’s nose to light up and buzz thanks to the Operation apron!

While its plump, nekkid mid-section isn’t exactly the most flattering look, the Operation apron offers up all of the important parts of your real fake anatomy, from your wish bone to your funny bone to your bread basket and those pesky butterflies in your stomach. Though I make no claims that studying this will help you pass your MCATs.

So you have been trying to catch all of the Pokémon you can, but you have found one that is that special someone. What better way to say, “I choose you!” then to give them this Poké Ball engagement ring? This is the height of class for Pokémon fans who want to end the chase and settle down.

This Pokéball engagement ring was designed by jeweler Arts & Gems. It is the Pokémon trainer’s ring.

It has a ruby and cubic zirconium Pokéball as the center stone with green gems on either side to represent health at the beginning of a battle. Sadly for all of you Poké-nerds this is just a concept, but the artist says that due to demand they will be producing it soon.

Let’s face it you can’t catch them all. For one thing they just keep creating new Pokémon and upping the price of merchandise. It’s better just to catch one very special Pokémon and stick with it.
