Grip Clip: Ears on Your Glasses

…Let me explain. You know how you can place a pencil and other small objects behind your ears? The Grip Clip lets you do that using the temples of your sunglasses, so you can store more things on your head! It’s great for craftsmen, students and even posers!

Ironic nerd charm get!

A pledge of just $5 (USD) on Kickstarter already gets you three Grip Clips. I wonder if you can clip two Grip Clips on one Grip Clip.

Mega Man Mega Buster & Helmet Plushies: Arm & Head Upgrade

I’m sure Mega Man fans already know – and pre-ordered – about the old school Mega Man statue that Capcom unveiled for the Blue Bomber’s 25th anniversary. But if you’d rather be Mega Man, go grab Capcom Japan’s limited edition Mega Buster and Helmet set.

Not only are both items wearable, they’re super soft too. You can morph into Sleep Man just by closing your eyes and resting your head on the most huggable arm cannon ever made.

The Giant Omnibus of Superpowers T-Shirt: Chartman’s Costume

It must be insanely hard to come up with an original superhero these days, what with the hundreds – or perhaps thousands – of already existing ones. Is there any superpower that hasn’t been taken yet? Just looking at the graphic in Pop Chart Lab’s t-shirt must be enough to make a budding writer sweat bullets. Then prompt him to create Bullet Sweater, the ultimate worrier.

The intimidating chart collates 384 super-powered characters, from Superman to Silent Majority. As mind-boggling as that may be, even a casual comic geek like me knows that this is by no means comprehensive. Bullet Sweater isn’t here, for one thing.

You can order The Giant Omnibus of Superpowers t-shirt from Pop Chart Lab for just $20 (USD). As of this writing I didn’t see the graphic being offered as a print, but you can check out a large image of the chart here.

Super Doctor Who Time Traveling System Shirt

I’m a sucker for all things vintage Nintendo. I’m also a sucker for a good piece of Doctor Who merchandise. So this mashup t-shirt is a win-win in my opinion.

super doctor who

This shirt is all kinds of awesome, featuring what would have been the best NES game of all time had it actually existed: Super Doctor Who. This shirt is overflowing with 8-bit goodness. The style. The colors. The fact that it plays on the Time Traveling System and has the official Time Lord seal of quality. I must have this shirt.

Since we never got to play this amazing game, we might as well wear the shirt. It’s just $14.95(USD) from Neatoshop.

Bad Motivator T-Shirt is the Best Star Wars J.J. Abrams Mashup Yet

Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been a fan of the Star Wars saga – so I was pretty excited to hear that with the Disney LucasFilm acquisition, new movies would be on the way. Of course, with J.J. Abrams behind the camera of Episode VII, the franchise could definitely go in a different direction, with more mysteries and unanswered questions as J.J. has been known for. One thing is for certain, there will be plenty of lens flare.

In celebration of the marriage between J.J. and Star Wars, designer Crackerbox came up with this hilarious mashup…

The design perfectly melds the logo from J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company with the little droid that couldn’t, R5-D4, as he peeps out from some tall blades of grass.

If you want it, you’d better motivate yourself on over to ShirtPunch! today, as the t-shirt only available until 11:59pm Eastern time tonight. The design is also available in hoodies, long sleeve shirts, posters, buttons, magnets, and skins for your gadgets.

Sonic Screwdriver Tattoo Won’t Unlock Doors, but is the Key to My Heart

Okay guys, prepare to have your hearts won over by this female Doctor Who fan who has a sexy Doctor Who tattoo. The tattoo is of a garter holding a Sonic Screwdriver. After all, that really is the best place to hold your Sonic Screwdriver.

If you had said the words “Sonic Screwdriver tattoo” before I saw this image, I would have never imagined something so provocative. I wonder if all the female companions have one and we just didn’t know it.

Now I really want to see some girls wearing Slave Leia outfits with blasters tattooed on their leg. There is clearly a whole untapped area here of weapons that could be tattooed on one’s leg. I’ll be awaiting your submissions ladies.

Curiosity Rover Dress: Mars Needs Women

Space exploration has never been so sexy. This Mars Curiosity rover dress definitely makes me curious to explore her surface. I kid. No, really I have always wanted to explore the Martian landscape. Just not as much as I do now.

mars rover dress

This awesome Curiosity inspired dress comes from textile artist Holly Renee of Shenova who makes dresses printed with images from Mars as well as other science-y subject matter. The dress is made with stretch Lycra and cotton, and just so you know, the belt is sold separately ladies. The images are from the Mars Curiosity rover of course. She’s also got dresses, shirts and leggings made from the pattern of the Mars rover’s wheels:

If you are female and a space enthusiast, one of these should be your next fashion purchase.

Bane Walkie-Talkies: Breaker 1-9, Got Your Mask on?

The Dark Knight Rises wasn’t my favorite in the Nolan Batman series, but I still thought Bane was pretty bad-ass – even if it did sound like he was talking with marbles in his mouth most of the time. That scene when he blows up the football stadium is a classic, IMHO. Now, if you want to announce your evil plans just like Bane, you can, thanks to these new voice-changing Bane walkie-talkies.

You and your friend can each strap on the Bane masks, and a special voice-changer circuit will make you sound just like the Dark Knight’s hulking, if inarticulate nemesis. I’m not sure if you’ll be able to understand each other, but I suppose that’s part of the fun.

bane walkie talkie 2

I have to say, Bane doesn’t look so tough when he only comes up to your navel. No word yet on pricing for the Bane walkie-talkies, but our pals over at ThinkGeek are hiding more details over in their bat-filled secret lair.

UPDATE: Happy April Fool’s Day!

R2-D2 Bra Lights up, Makes Sounds: Bleep Bloop Boob

Last month we saw a pair of custom R2-D2 heels that used components from a toy Artoo to light up and make sounds. Instructables member Seamster used the same tactic but instead of making a shoe, he made a bra that some of you might have been looking for.

r2 d2 bra 1

r2 d2 bra

Seamster made two pairs of ‘bot bras, one dubbed the “R2-DD2″. The first one uses duct tape for the dome and is relatively easy to make, while the one pictured here has a dome made of papier-mâché and wood fillings. It’s harder to make but as you can see the end result is really cool. Though it doesn’t look very comfortable.

Head to Seamster’s Instructables page to find out how to make one of these awesome bras. C-3PO must be so jealous of Artoo.

PocketBands Put a Pocket on Your Wrist

Need more space than what your pocket currently provides you with? Need a discrete compartment to stash stuff that you really want to keep secure? Need a place to store your essentials when you’re out running, biking, or surfing?

Then no worries, because PocketBands are coming. These colorful rubber bands look just like your typical baller bands, except they’re not.

pocketbands 1

Each PocketBand has a teeny, tiny covert pocket on the inside which can hold a single flat key, a little cash, a USB drive or an SD card. The space is really limited, but hey, what do you expect from a wristband? I’d have to say that it’s definitely better than nothing, though.

PocketBands1

Each band is made from a “stretchy, surgical-grade silicone” and is sweatproof and waterproof. The PocketBand is currently up for funding on Kickstarter, where a minimum pledge of $10(USD) by April 21, 2013 will get you one of your very own. $20 will get you a set of 3.
