Power Ranger Onesies for Your Mighty, Morphin Poopin’ Machines

Go, go, Power Rangers!

The theme song would play at full volume every time my sisters and I got home from school. We made a deal with our mom then that we’d do our homework every night and eat all the vegetables on our plates if she let us watch the show when school let out. I don’t watch the show anymore and don’t even follow it now, but I still have fond memories of that part of my childhood.

Whether you have similar stories or grew up watching the mighty, morphin Power Rangers fight evil in your PJs, then you will no doubt find these Power Ranger onesies adorable! They’re currently sold out since they were marked down to $5 each for the holiday season, but hopefully they’ll be back in stock next year so you dress your little one in proper Ranger garb.

The Power Ranger onesies were available in red, pink, green, yellow, black, and blue. What, no white Power Ranger?

TokyoFlash Kisai RPM Gold Watch Looks Like Something Tony Stark Would Wear

At first glance, this watch might look like a timepiece from the Iron Man franchise, but it’s not. It’s actually the TokyoFlash Kisai RPM gold watch. Like most TokyoFlash timepieces, it’ll require a bit of time and practice before its wearer will actually be able to read the time off of it. Once you get the hang of it, I have no doubt that telling the time will get easier.

When the watch is off, it looks sleek and polished with its blank face and curved, smoked lens. When it’s on, lights illuminate to indicate what time it is: the inner ring displays the current hour, while the outer ring shows the minutes, with each brick divided in five-minute intervals.

The watch also has a neat light-up animation where the LED lights spin around the display at fifteen-minute intervals from six in the evening until midnight. As is the case with many of TokyoFlash’s watches, this one is USB rechargeable.

The TokyoFlask Kisai RPM Gold Watch is available for $189(USD).

Super Breakout Sweater: Casual Atari

Band of Outsiders released a line of Atari-themed apparel this Holiday season. The clothes might as well be adorned with pixel art or random colored blocks to younger gamers, but their dads and moms see cowboys, aliens and car chases there. Unless you look at the Super Breakout sweater, in which case what you see is what you get: a paddle, a ball and a wall.

I chose to feature this sweater not just because I think it looks great but also because it’s not just for Atari or Super Breakout fans. It’s for both Apple fans and haters too. The game you see here wouldn’t exist without Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, the same people that led to the iPhone and iPads, which are now home to bite-sized arcade style games in the vein of Super Breakout. If you already know that trivia then this sweater also serves as a reminder of Steve Wozniak’s talent and Steve Jobs’ business acumen, i.e. ruthlessness.

The sweater even has an Apple-like price tag: Band of Outsiders is selling it for $395 (USD). You could do worse: the Super Breakout beanie costs an insane $175.

X-23 Cosplay Girl: The Perfect Killing Machine

Laura Kinney aka X-23 was cloned from a damaged copy of Wolverine’s genes, and was created to be an assassin in the X-Men universe. With her sharp Adamantium claws, I certainly wouldn’t want to mess with her. And in real life, she looks even more deadly.

This awesome costume was put together and modeled by KOCosplay for Katsucon 19 and NYCC earlier this year, and all I can say is that I wouldn’t want to run into her in a dark alley. Especially with those spikes on her boots – and her ability to heal from any wounds in seconds.

KO worked with Ravenswood Leather to create the leather bits of her costume, and built the rest herself, including those deadly claws, and that X-Men belt buckle.

Real Life Leg Lamp: It’s a Major Award

Perhaps taking inspiration from A Christmas Story, Redditor cit046286 has decorated her prosthetic leg by adding lights to it. She has used a prosthetic leg since her battle with bone cancer two years ago. She was diagnosed while she was deployed to Afghanistan.

Being the clever and creative person that she is, she stuffed lights inside the leg for a Christmas party. Now she has a super cool leg lamp. It’s a festive look, and it even comes in handy for more than just showing off – like when the power went out for 15 minutes during the party. Also it doesn’t look FRA-GEE-LAY.

I guess her leg can also double as a Festivus pole if she celebrates Festivus.

These Harry Potter Stilettos Look Enchanting

If you love something, wear it. There’s a reason why shirts, sweaters, skirts, caps, and even pants bearing some elements from a movie or TV show sells like hotcakes: its fans just can’t get enough of it.

These Harry Potter-inspired stilettos aren’t available in stores, because they were made specially for Redditor akasha446‘s wedding.

The bride wore the red Gryffindor pair (naturally!), while her bridesmaids rocked the heels featuring Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin house. The gems adorning the heels adds a bit of glam to each shoe.

The shoes were hand-painted by akasha446′s sister-in-law, samartypants, who also happens to be a Redditor. You can check out more pictures of the shoes in the gallery below.

Spike Away Vest Preserves Your Personal Space in Public Places

There are days when you want to be with people. There are times when you just want to be alone. So when people overstep boundaries and cross the line into your personal space when you’re in the latter mood, it gets more than just annoying.

Prevent that from happening ever again – at least, in the physical sense – with the Spike Away vest.

Spike Awaymagnify

As the name implies, the entire vest is riddled with spikes. It’ll turn heads, but it’ll keep people away because it frankly looks scary and will probably cause a lot of pain if you bump into it head-on. The piece was created by Singapore industrial designer Siew Ming Cheng, who used off the shelf materials, including strips designed to keep pests out of gardens to make the prototype.

Spike Away1magnify

Cheng explained: “Trains are usually crowded during peak hours. Everybody will push each other to try and get onto the train. How can I protect my personal space? The idea was then conceived.”

While the Spike Away is just a one-off concept at this point, Cheng could sell millions of these to daily commuters – especially if the spikes were sharper.

Gold Dalek Dress Makes Cosplay Easy

We’ve seen some pretty cool Doctor Who themed cosplay outfits in the past, including Dalek and Tardis dresses. The catch was those costumes were homemade. If you lack the time or skills to make your own stuff, we have the outfit for you.

dalekdressmagnify

ThinkGeek has rolled out a Doctor Who costume that requires no effort on your part, other than perhaps talking your girlfriend into wearing the dress if you’re buying it as a gift. The Gold Dalek A-Line Dress is strapless, short, and fitted in just the right places. It’s perfect for walking around and saying “The Daleks Survive in Me!”

It sells for $44.99(USD) over at ThinkGeek, but is currently on sale for just $33.74
