Bra Capable Of Monitoring Stress EatingThe bra is an important piece of intimate clothing for the ladies, and to hear technology being infused into bras is certainly an exciting development. In fact, the latest iteration happens to be a bra which was specially designed so that it can monitor stress eating, helping the ladies stop from indulging in their own unhealthy eating habits. This wearable device will be able to go about its job thanks to the ability to monitor both heart rate and respiration of the wearer. The data used to determine a state of stress eating were garnered from extensive studies, so it should be pretty accurate in nature. All measurements are acquired by sensors located within the bra, where it will remain juiced up for 4 hours at a time.

Team Canada’s Beer Fridge Can Only Be Opened By Canadian Passports

Team Canadas Beer Fridge Can Only Be Opened By Canadian PassportsWouldn’t it be cool if you had a fridge that could only be open by certain people? It would certainly make it great for exclusivity and recently in the Winter Olympics, it seems that countries have decided to give their athletes certain privileges that can only be unlocked with a special pass. In the case of Team USA, the participating Olympians were given a special keychain in which when attached to a vending machine, would allow the athlete to get themselves a bottle of Coke or Powerade for free.

If you thought that was pretty cool, it seems that Team Canada has decided to up the ante by providing their athletes with a fridge full of beer that can only be open by a Canadian passport! All the athlete would have to do is bring with them their passport, insert it into the slot (as pictured above) to scan it, and then the beer fridge will pop right open and provide them with all the beer that they can drink. It is pretty cool and while it might be only accessible to those in Team Canada, we guess it isn’t completely unexpected if the athletes decide to share their beer with the others in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Pretty cool stuff, huh?

Office Online Could Be Launched Soon

Office Online Could Be Launched SoonBack in January when Microsoft announced the rebranding of SkyDrive to OneDrive, it was also rumored that Microsoft could be rebranding their Office Web Apps suite to Office Online instead, which we have to admit sounds a lot better and rolls off the tongue in a nicer way too. Now according to a sighting on Microsoft’s “compare” page for its consumer Office offerings, it looks like Microsoft is getting closer to launching the rebranding off its free Office apps. As you can see in the image above, Office Online is clearly listed next to Microsoft’s other Office offerings, such as Office 365 Home Premium and Office 365 University.

Offline Online will essentially be the free version, and in a way can be thought of as Microsoft’s answer to Google Docs, Google Spreadsheet, and so on. It has been around since 2010 but wasn’t as readily obvious compared to Google’s efforts, which is why the goal of Office Online is to make itself more discoverable and understandable to the public. Apart from just rebranding the name of the app suite, the apps within will also see a rebranding and will be henceforth known as Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, and OneNote Online. Microsoft is also expected to make Office Online templates available to users. No launch date was specified but based on the screenshot above, we can only assume it will be soon.

    Sears Launches In-Vehicle Pickup Program

Sears Launches In Vehicle Pickup ProgramThere are a few companies out there who offer shoppers the ability to make their purchases online and pick it up at the shop. Apple does it, and Sears does it too with their Free Store Pickup program, but it looks like Sears could be taking things to the next level by allowing customers to pickup their purchases without ever having to leave their car, making it a great solution for those in a rush, or for those with kids who don’t want to go through the hassle of getting everyone ready and restrapping them back into their car seats later.

The new program, dubbed the In-Vehicle Pickup, will take advantage of the Shop Your Way app and it is an option that Sears customers use when shopping with the app. Once their purchase is complete, all they’d need to do is drive to a Sears outlet and pull into the In-Vehicle Pickup spots, launch the app to initiate the drop-off, and someone will come out and hand-deliver them their purchases within the next five minutes or less! This sounds like a great idea and if you’re a regular shopper at Sears looking to avoid the long queues and parking, this is an option that you’d like to consider.

Sprint And SoftBank Rethink T Mobile Bid [Report]

There is a lot of speculation surrounding the T-Mobile Sprint merger. The latter is yet to make an official bid for Magenta, even though it has been rumored that there’s over $40 billion available in financing should a deal be made. Apparently Sprint and its parent company Softbank are currently rethinking about going down this road, because apparently they have been shocked by ”the level of opposition and its public nature.”

    McDonald’s Employee Celebrates 100th Birthday

McDonald’s Employee Celebrates 100th BirthdayI would suppose if you could live to be a century old while remaining in a healthy state, then this is a good thing, with all of your mental faculties still in good working order. After all, there is a whole lot to look forward to in life, right? If you think that working at McDonald’s is a job that you would take on only after finishing up high school before going to university, think again. An employee at one US outlet has just touched the magical 100 years old mark. Mr. Morris Miller hit the milestone age last Friday at the store in Needham, Massachusetts, which would make him a whole lot older (many times over, in fact) compared to the kids who normally celebrate their birthdays at the restaurant.

    Bitcoin Banned In Russia

Bitcoin Banned In RussiaBitcoin is a popular virtual currency which has managed to gain a fair amount of traction. The value of Bitcoin has fluctuated and still fluctuates on an almost per-minute basis, with prices soaring as high as over $1,000 per Bitcoin, before falling back to a few hundred dollars, which admittedly is still pretty valuable. However there are concerns about the Bitcoin currency as it is not widely accepted or recognized by legal bodies around the world, including governments who have pretty much the say on how things should be conducted. China was one of the countries whose government refused to recognize the currency for use in banks, and is now followed by Russia who has similarly banned the use of Bitcoin as well.

In a press release sent to Reuters, Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office said, “Systems for anonymous payments and cyber currencies that have gained considerable circulation — including the most well-known, Bitcoin — are money substitutes and cannot be used by individuals or legal entities.” The statement claims that this is because cyber currencies could intentionally or unintentionally lead to money laundering as well as the funding of terrorism. The Prosecutor’s office also reiterated Article 27 of Russian federal law, “The official currency of the Russian Federation is the ruble. Introduction of other monetary units and money substitutes is prohibited.”
