Geeks come in all shapes, sizes, forms, kinds, heights, hair colors, ethnicities and yes, even gender. This lovely little music video by The Doubleclicks shows off geek girls who have "Nothing to Prove" about their geekiness. Geek girls are constantly and wrongfully tested about their geekiness because us dimwitted males can’t believe they exist. They don’t have to be fake geek girls just because they’re girls, people! Everyone should enjoy whatever it is they want to enjoy (well, unless they’re hurting people and that’s a whole ‘nother story). So geek on. And be proud.

For some reason, a Belarusian iron and steel mill made a calendar using its naked women workers. That’s sort of normal, I guess. But the iron and steel mill wanted to make sure anyone who saw this calendar knew it was theirs by superimposing images of melting metal, wire looms, burning steel, cables, fences and anything else you would never associate with a beautiful woman on their naked skin. When I was a kid, I used to be so jealous of my cousin who had more toys than I did. But mainly I was jealous of her humongous doll house that she wouldn’t let me play with. I have since gotten over my dollhouse-less childhood, but nothing brings up not-so-fond childhood memories than seeing images of this gigantic, life-sized dollhouse.
At first glance, I thought it was something someone pieced together using Photoshop, but this thing is actually real. It was created by Canadian sculptor Heather Benning, who took a ruined farmhouse and replaced one side of it with plexiglass.
Benning came across the farmhouse back in 2005 and probably got the idea to transform it into every little girl’s dream (play)house then. It took a long time to demolish certain parts and remodel the interior of the structure, but as you can see, her efforts were well worth it because her finished work looks amazing.
