Golf Cart Cooling System helps cool you down on the course

golf-cart-cooling-systemLet’s face it – playing golf can be hard work for some of us, and in the summer (or on any other golf course in a tropical environment), you might end up sweating a whole lot faster than expected. Hey, nobody said that golf is a cheap sport. Since you would like to impress your potential business partner or simply travel in comfort, the Golf Cart Cooling System does sound like a perfect addition to any golf cart. It comprises of an evaporative misting fan system which can be attached to just about any golf cart, helping reduce ambient temperature by as much as 30º F. There are three speeds to choose from, and you can even choose from dry or wet mist thanks to a twist of a dial to suit your cooling preferences. There will be a one-gallon water tank that offers up to seven hours of mist, just in case you were wondering how many rounds of golf it can work for.

FootGolf – Golfing Fun for the Rest of Us

images

Sure, I’ve played golf. My husband is addicted. I just don’t really see the appeal of standing in a cow pasture, hitting a tiny little white ball with a stick, and trying to get it in a tiny hole. There is something to be said about being out in nature, friendly competition, and a cocktail or three… for me though, golf could definitely be more, well… fun.

Check out FootGolf, now here’s a game I can get behind, similar to golf, the object of the game is the same, to put your ball inside a specially designed series of holes using the fewest number of strokes.  The difference is, instead of swinging a stick at it, you kick the ball around the course, thereby eliminating all that pesky club selecting, and ball whiffing that’s often associated with beginners golf.

FootGolf is a surprisingly well organized upstart.  Founded in 2012,  you will find it has a strongly established ruling body called the FIFG, or Federation for International FootGolf, along with a fairly strict set of rules that any official events will need to follow.  These rules are a revised version of the first FootGolf World Cup Rules that were played in Budapest, Hungary in June of 2012. All of the FIFG Member countries were invited to provide their opinion on the rules of play, and a list of alternative options. The FIFG have even made significant steps in giving FootGolf status as an Olympic sport . Oh yeah, FootGolf is some serious stuff!

As of this writing, the FIFG is represented in 22 countries, each of which are required to host 3 or more tournaments, at a minimum of 2 golf courses within one year. As an example, the United States has 76 FootGolf courses, located in 26 states. Seriously? Where the heck have I been?  Interested? Find some FootGolf near you at fifg.org, and remember, you heard it here first.

Ride On Golf Cart Scooter makes life easy for golfers

ride-on-golf-cartI know that some folks take up golfing as a sport in order to lose some weight and beef up their fitness stats, but something tells me that it is not going to burn all that many calories as opposed to a more vigorous activity such as swimming, running or cycling. Well, golf has also been associated as a sport that has relatively high entry costs, making it a “rich man’s game” if you will. Hence, it is a no-brainer for us to come across this $4,500 Ride On Golf Cart Scooter.

The Ride On Golf Cart Scooter so happens to be a powered golf cart scooter which is capable of transporting golfers from one point to another, allowing them to conserve energy for their game. The scooter itself sports a couple of 400-watt electric hub motors in the rear wheels which will propel the unit up to a top speed of 11 mph, and you will be able to make a turn simply by shifting your weight in the direction that you would like to go, pretty much like how a Segway operates. The handlebars will feature a forward throttle, reverse button, and a brake lever that would do its bit in slowing you down to a stop via the dual disk brakes. It is capable of climbing up to a 20° incline without breaking a sweat, and you ought to find it comfortable enough to ride on thanks to its oil-damped shock absorbers and four pneumatic tires. There should be enough battery life to last all 27 holes.

Golf Putting Aid ensures you shine on the green the next time

golf-puttingaidYou know what they say – practice makes perfect. I suppose that can be applied to the world of golf, as you want to make sure your muscle memory is perfected so that regardless of the conditions and pressure out there on the green, you will be able to deliver and land that putt with confidence. Sure, you could always go out and look for a coach to help you get that swing and putt right, but in these economically challenging times, perhaps there must be another far more affordable method? The $239.99 Golf Putting Aid might be an answer to your prayers then.

With the Golf Putting Aid, you will be able to improve your putting accuracy and distance control using this rechargeable device. Solafeet – Tanning your Feet while You Work

images

Okay, I can hear you all groaning already, and I did too when I came across this seemingly wacky device designed to tan only your feet, while you toil away at your desk. I chuckled to myself as I thought of the humorous post I could spin from this ridiculous device when my husband, who plays golf as much as humanly possible, hopped out of bed with his disturbingly pale feet. I realize that runners, and climbers, and just about anyone else that enjoys outdoor sports might be suffering from cadaverous-like feet.

So, check out Solafeet, allowing you to tan your tootsies while you’re at work, watching TV or reading your favorite novel. With a special base that allows the bulbs to be lowered, or raised (to accommodate different foot sizes or even sock lines) Solafeet can take your feet from pale to tan in around 7 to 14 days depending on your skin type. Simply use the Solafeet for 15 minutes each day, and not only will you be able to wear sandals or flip-flops without showcasing feet that are a different color than your legs, you will have some added sunburn protection the next time you hit the beach after you play a round of golf.

Solafeet meets all required FDA standards, comes with a 6-month warranty, and the bulbs will operate for about 300 hours. Solafeet is available for right around 260 bucks, and genuine Wolff Systems replacement bulbs can be purchased for under 13 dollars each. (you’ll need 4) So it’s not as funny as I thought it was, but I’m not rushing out to get one either. Visit solafeet.com for more information.

Golf Cart Hovercraft

Golf is not a cheap hobby or sport, at least relatively speaking. First of all, there is the issue of membership fees at a golf club of your choice, and obviously the more exclusive it is, the more expensive it will be! When it comes to equipment and the choice of clothing, golf too, would edge out other sports like say, chess, table tennis, swimming, and even running, and with that, the cost would also be a whole lot more for golf. I guess if you really want to be extravagant about the sport (while getting the approval from your other half along the way, of course), then you would not mind forking out the dough for this $58,000 Golf Cart Hovercraft.

Yes sir, you read that right. The Golf Cart Hovercraft is one golf cart that you would most probably not see anywhere else, as it glide over sand traps and water hazards without batting an eyelid, doing so on a cushion of air – and it will also traverse just as easily over fairways and the rough. What powers the Golf Cart Hovercraft would be a 65-hp twin-cylinder Hirth engine, with a nine-blade axial-flow ducted fan that propels the craft to speeds of up to 45 mph and 9″ off the ground, ensuring that the greens (and other small animals) will not be harmed. Heck, this is good enough to cross a pond or stream, too.

Pro Chip Floating Golf Game

So you have got the itch to whack a few balls even while you are fully dressed up to the nines at the office? I guess other avid golfers in your circle of influence feel the same, too. The thing is, since you are not your own boss, it can be rather tricky and challenging to get some time off – anytime you like in order to tee off. Well, since dad has worked so hard all year round to provide for the family, it makes perfect sense to reward him with a gift this coming Father’s Day that will be very different from the usual tie and wallet combo. How about the $59.95 Pro Chip Floating Golf Game?

The Pro Chip Floating Golf Game is extremely lovable, as it literally places the 18th hole right there and then in your pool. All you need to do is inflate the target green, drop it into the pool, and you’re good to go. Place a floating golf ball on the chipping pad that comes with each purchase, and chip away according to the best of your ability. Each Pro Chip Floating Golf Game purchase will include a quartet of color-coded balls, allowing the entire family to join in the fun, and hopefully mum will turn as well so that she no longer needs to be the fabled golf widow for the rest of her life.

Drink Dispensing Driver

Tackling an 18-hole golf course does require some bit of endurance and a certain degree of physical fitness for sure. The thing is, it is all the more important to make sure that you remain well hydrated throughout the entire course, so that you do not end up collapsing on the green with your caddy requiring to drive you back to the clubhouse’s medical facilities on a buggy. Well, what better way to show the world your love for the game of golf than with the $89.95 Drink Dispensing Driver?

The Drink Dispensing Driver is pretty much self-explanatory, as it is a drink dispensing golf club which allows you to get a head start on the rest of your mates while you guys are still trudging on the course itself. The unit’s club head and shaft will make it look like it is a normal driver, but it has the secret ability of dispensing 1-oz. per second from a spout in the club head with but a single touch of a button. Whenever it resides in a golf bag, the drink dispensing driver will allow you to maintain the illusion of proper course etiquette, without drawing a second look unless the course officials have this rather keen eye. Capable of keeping up to 54 oz. of refreshments cool or warm for up to five hours, the Drink Dispensing Driver will be powered by a quartet of AA batteries.
