Gresso’s Radical R1 Titanium Smartphone Will Set You Back $1,800

Gressos Radical R1 Titanium Smartphone Will Set You Back $1,800While most of us quibble over how a phone uses more premium materials compared to another phone, let’s not forget that there are companies out there who probably scoff at our petty arguments because what’s a little bit of glass and aluminum, especially when their phones are encased in even more premium materials like gold, and in some cases incorporate the use of rare stones too! Gresso is one of those companies and if you’re in the market for a luxury smartphone, Gresso has recently announced a new lineup of smartphones that will start at an eye-watering $1,800.

Dubbed the Radical R1, it comes in three different versions. The “cheapest” at $1,800 will sport a titanium logo and body, followed by the 18K gold plated logo which is priced at $2,300, and the white gold logo model which goes for $2,300 as well. As far as specs are concerned, it’s nothing to shout above. The Radical R1 will sport a 4.5” 960×540 display with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It will feature an 8MP rear-facing camera, 36GB of onboard storage, support dual SIMs, and will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. For the most part despite these luxury phones sporting some impressive materials, rarely are they designed to impress, but we suppose to eat their own! So, any takers?

    Gresso Cruiser Titanium White

If you feel that you have plenty of spare cash lying around, not knowing how to spend it, you can always make a one-off donation to our bank account, or perhaps if you are in need of a spanking new handset, then perhaps you can check out the new Gresso Cruiser Titanium White that offers not only elegance but femininity as well. The thing is, just make sure you have a cool $3,000 lying around somewhere, as that is how much the Gresso Cruiser Titanium White would cost you. Not quite the arm and a leg, but it gets quite close.

Gresso’s idea of introducing this limited edition model of a pearl white Cruiser Titanium is due to them wanting to roll out a phone that complements the style of a true lady. It has been described to be distinguished by delicate design and flawless performance, where you will be able to enjoy a perfect combination of glossy mirror surface and pure snow-white hue, as the entire handset delivers a romantic and sophisticated look. On the outside lies a polished case and steel key buttons, where this one-piece phone case was executed using a high-precision equipment from a solid titanium slab.

Thanks to a complex milling technology, it resulted in a single-piece case containing only 7 % of the original blank. Each case has to go through a 7-hour milling process, followed by a craftsman polishing it for a few hours, before it goes through another 3-stage hand polishing segment to create a luxurious mirror gloss.

As for the round key buttons, they have been precision cut from stainless steel, and all 21 of them have also been accurately hand polished by a craftsman, resulting in a perfect glossy surface. As for the front and back panels, those are made out of solid tempered glass plates. Only 999 of these puppies will be made available, so get them fast when they’re still hot!

Gresso Cruiser Titanium Mobile Phone Chooses Looks over Functionality

Some people out there prefer a product that looks good to a product that has more functionality. There’s not anything wrong with that and if you are that sort of person and have a big budget for a mobile phone, Gresso has a new offering that looks pretty cool. The new phone is called the Cruiser Titanium.

The $2500(USD) phone is encased in a single piece polished titanium shell. That shell is milled in a process involving many steps including both machine- and hand-polishing. Even the buttons on the front of the phone are hand polished. Since the shell is made from titanium, it’s incredibly strong and able to resist dents and scratches. The display is also built to be durable, having been formed from solid tempered glass panels.

When it comes to functionality, the phone isn’t exactly high-end. It runs Symbian S40, supports Java apps, and has a tiny two-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone operates on GSM/GPRS and EDGE bands and has integrated Bluetooth 2.0. The phone has a two-megapixel rear camera, and you get a mere 30 MB of internal storage, but it does have a microSD card slot for expansion. But if you’re buying one of these, you’re not getting it so you can play Angry Birds on it.

Gresso Cruiser Titanium Is The World’s First Polished Titanium Mobile Phone

Gresso Cruiser Titanium Is The Worlds First Polished Titanium Mobile PhoneFor the rich and profile-conscious, Gresso is the brand to be endorsed. After taking the wraps off its luxurious iPhone 5 bumper last year, the company is now announcing a new one-of-a-kind phone that is made from polished titanium. Enter Gresso’s Cruiser Titanium series, available in three models – Cruiser Titanium, Cruiser Titanium Black, and Cruiser Titanium Solid – priced at $2500, $2000, and $1800, respectively. The Cruiser Titanium combines elegant design, unique materials, precision technology, and handwork. Gresso says that it has traversed a completely new realm with the creation of the phone.

Gresso’s Regal Titanium luxury phone will cost you $4,500

If there’s one thing that can be said about luxury phones is that they tend to be made out of premium quality materials. They might not necessarily be the best designed phones, nor the most powerful, but it’s certainly quite hard to beat materials such as diamonds, titanium, and other rare gems. That being said, luxury phone maker, Gresso, is back with another luxury phone offering in the form of the Regal Titanium, which as the name has probably given away, will be made from titanium. The use of titanium which not only gives off a rather classy and refined look, will also help prevent the phone from being dented and should be able to withstand some level of abuse, although for $4,500 we wouldn’t dare put it to the test.

The phone itself will be running on Symbian S40 and will include tri-bands (900/1800/1900), Bluetooth connectivity, a 2MP camera, 30MB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD and will be powered by a li-ion 860mAh battery that promises 5.4 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby. Like we said earlier, it will be priced at $4,500 and will be available in limited quantities, so if you have the cash to spare, pop on over to Gresso’s website for the details.

    Gresso’s $3000 bumber case for iPhone 5

Today is probably the best time for iPhone accessory makers to promote their product or brand. In this case, Gresso is coming out with a $3000 iPhone 5 bumper case aimed at the 0.1%. I’ve seen aluminum case like this go for $250 in Japan and I thought that it was already ridiculous. However Gresso has up the ante with a $3000 titanium case that will be manufactured in a limited edition (999 units).

It is said that the case of this titanium bumber case is very nice and comes with silk and all. Yep, I guess that Gresso can afford this. At $12/lbs, Titatium costs less than a filet mignon, so the margin can be rather nice if Gresso can find 999 customer to generate a revenue of nearly $3M. Let’s hope that the phone doesn’t land on the screen :)

Gresso Cruiser Air Black going for a cool $1,700

I am not quite sure about you, but when it comes to spending money on a new phone, I would say the ceiling price would be approximately $600 thereabouts for an unlocked unit, and at that price point, the pocket already hurts like hell – which leads me to ask the question, would you want to shell out $1,700 for the Gresso Cruiser Air Black? This new exclusive luxury handset from Gresso will definitely turn heads with its design and price point, although you would not get too much substance underneath the hood.

In fact, all the good money you threw at it during its procurement was meant to compensate more for the outside than inside, as the Gresso Cruiser Air Black will feature a sad 2″ 240 x 320 pixel display that does a mere 256K colors, a 2-megapixel camera and 30MB of internal memory. Thankfully, the engineers at Gresso had some common sense to throw in a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, although that is limited to just 2GB. It will be powered by the Series S40 operating system, and will play nice on a triple-band GSM network.

Makes you wonder whether this was a phone that got stuck in a time machine, no? It does seem to be a phone for folks who have more money than sense.
