Dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy S 4 launches in China with an Exynos 5 Octa inside

Remember the leaked GT-i9502, that dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy S 4 that ultimately confirmed many rumors? That smartphone at last exists beyond a collection of photos, as Samsung just launched it for China Unicom customers. The support for an extra cellular line is naturally the highlight, although there’s another perk for GS4 connoisseurs: the i9502 has the same 1.6GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor as the i9500, which might eke out more performance than the Snapdragon 600 models. There isn’t any word on whether or not the i9502 edition will leave China, although we wouldn’t count on European or North American editions when there isn’t LTE inside to please 4G-obsessed carriers.

Clearer Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-i9502) Photos Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Clearer Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT i9502) Photos Leaked Ahead Of LaunchThe Samsung Galaxy S4 is primed for an announcement soon and we’re sure many are curious as to what the device will look like. We’ve seen a couple of leaked photos, as well as a teaser image from Samsung. Now it looks like the folks who brought us the leaked photos are back, this time with much clearer and nicer photos (additional photos can be found at the source link below) of the GT-i9502 (alleged dual SIM version of the Galaxy S4) in all of its glory. So far based on what we can see, and based on the teaser image, this could very well be it. Unless of course Samsung decides to pull a fast one and completely reveals something else.

Along with the leaked photos, the source ousted several specs of the Galaxy S4, claiming it will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with an Exynos 5410 1.8GHz octa-core processor with a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU. It should be noted that this could be a Chinese variant of the Galaxy S4, and if previous rumors are to be believed, the North American version of the Galaxy S4 will instead use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 chipset. It will also supposedly come with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a sizeable 2,600mAh battery.

The source has also “confirmed” some of its alleged features, such as Smart Scroll, Smart Pause and a feature called Air View that allows S Pen like control with our fingers. We’re not sure how the last featured is supposed to work, but if it’s real then we guess we will know the answer very soon. What do you guys think? Anyone digging this design or were you hoping for something completely new?

Samsung GT-i9502 Photos Leaked, Could This Be The Samsung Galaxy S4?

Samsung GT i9502 Photos Leaked, Could This Be The Samsung Galaxy S4?On Thursday Samsung will be taking the wraps off the Samsung Galaxy S4, one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. While some of its specs have been allegedly leaked and gleaned from a bit of logical deduction, one thing remains a mystery – the design of the phone itself. Well thanks to a post on a Chinese forum alleged photos of a certain Samsung GT-i9502 have been leaked, leading some to speculate that this could be the Samsung Galaxy S4. Upon first glance it looks like the Galaxy S3 and it’s a bit hard to tell without holding the device if it is really a 4.99” display.

However some of the screenshots pictured show the phone’s specs, such as a quad-core processor and a Full HD 1920×1080 display. Of course these could be photoshopped but with the announcement around the corner, there is a good chance that this could be the real thing. At the same time we have to wonder about its design. If you recall not too long ago some alleged Galaxy S4 cases were spotted at CeBIT 2013, and based on that design, it seems that we could look forward to a square-ish design reminiscent of the Galaxy S2, rather than the more curvy Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2.

Either way we only have a few days to go before the unveiling, so what do you guys make of this? Real or fake?
