GTA Online: The Business Update Arrives

GTA Online: The Business Update ArrivesIn this day and age, flying business class has gotten a whole lot more affordable, and while it is not exactly the same experience as first class, you still get perks such as making your way to the Business Class lounge to get away from the masses at the departure hall for some much needed peace and quiet. Apart from that, credit cards too, intend to increase the amount of exclusivity through the introduction of Titanium and Platinum cards, instead of stopping at just the gold card. The world of video games, at least in GTA Online, too, recognizes one’s achievements in a corporate environment with the introduction of the Business Update.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Spotted In The Windows StoreAh, Grand Theft Auto. This is one gamng franchise that has captured the imagination of millions worldwide, and when the title arrived on the Windows Phone platform, it did create a fair amount of buzz. The asking price for that game on the Windows Phone Store was stated at $6.99, and it was compatible only with devices that had at least 1GB RAM underneath the hood, and it held the promise of a rollout on Windows 8 in due time. Well, it seems that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has appeared on the Windows Store, where it will also cost the same price as that of its Windows Phone version, although attempts to download it has resulted in the message “This item is no longer available” popping up. Download attempts happened to have occurred in the likes of California, New York and the U.K. without any success. Grand Theft Auto V Online Players Claim To Lose Cash To Rockstar After Latest Update

gta-onlineGrand Theft Auto V Online players are not too happy a bunch these days, as the most recent update to the game has apparently “robbed” legit players of their cash, whether earned or purchased, because of the latest update introduced by Rockstar. The entire goal of this particular update from Rockstar was to weed out cheaters, but there are folks out there who claim that they are clean and good, and were unfairly singled out. Apparently, this latest update supposedly removed modded cash from the game as well as isolated the players who created the cheat and turned it into a “cheater pool”, letting them play only with other cheaters.

GTA: San Andreas Android And Windows Phone Release Is Due Next Week

GTA: San Andreas Android And Windows Phone Release Is Due Next Week

Rockstar announced last month that it is going to release its popular Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas title on mobile devices. Yesterday, the title was finally released for iOS. Android, select Windows Phone and Kindle devices are also supported, however there was no indication of a launch on those platforms yesterday. Turns out, Rockstar plans to release GTA: San Andreas for Android and Windows Phone devices next week.

There won’t be any difference in the title itself across these different platforms, even the price is going to remain same, $6.99. Offering over 70 hours of gameplay, GTA: San Andreas for mobile devices comes with tweaked graphics and controls. Originally launched back in 2004 for PlayStation 2 and then ported over to the PC and Xbox, GTA: San Andreas is definitely one of the most popular titles in this entire franchise. The game revolves around Carl Johnson or CJ in the early 90s who after being framed for homicide turns to the streets to save his family and take control of the neighbourhoods. The mobile title contains a vast open world that players can roam around if they’re not feeling up to a mission, it covers the state of San Andreas with three major cities, Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas being featured.

GTA: San Andreas For iOS Released

GTA: San Andreas For iOS Released

We reported last month that Rockstar is going to release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for mobile devices in December. At that point in time, Rockstar did not provide a concrete release date. If you have been waiting to go back to the early 90s where CJ and the Grove Street Families owned the town, you don’t have to wait any longer. GTA: San Andreas for iOS has been released.

Unfortunately, the app is being rolled out in stages, which means that it isn’t live in all countries at this point in time. Folks in New Zealand can already get their hands on it through the app store, it is expected that the title will make its way to the U.S. App Store in a couple of hours. GTA: San Andreas will actually be available on Android and Kindle Fire devices as well. While there hasn’t been any word of the title going live on the Play Store just yet, it is believed that GTA: San Andreas will be released on iOS and Android on the very same day, so its possible that we might see the Android version later in the day. Select Windows Phone and Kindle Fire devices, which run a highly forked version of Android, are also expected to receive the title in the near future.

GTA: San Andreas For iOS, Android And More Launches Next Month

GTA: San Andreas For iOS, Android And More Launches Next Month

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto titles are quite popular to say the least. The most recent title, GTA V, has already passed the $1 billion milestone and continues to perform well. During the PS2 era, one of the most popular games was GTA: San Andreas, the early 90s where CJ and the Grove Street Families went about creating mayhem and mischief. Rockstar has announced today that in December it is going to release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on iOS, Android and other mobile devices.

The title has been upgraded for its mobile release and it encompasses everything from San Fierro, Las Venturas and Los Santos. It comes with newly remastered graphics which includes detailed and dynamic shadows, enriched color palette and a greater draw distance. Character and car models have also been enhanced, making it the “best-looking version of San Andreas yet,” says Rockstar. There will be three different control schemes for driving and maneuvering, and a reworked checkpoint system for the casual gamer. The game comes with new touch controls including contexual controls which only show up when the user needs them. It will have full support for controllers, including the iOS 7 exclusive ones launched recently by MOGA and Logitech. GTA: San Andreas will be released for select iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Windows Phone devices next month.

Original Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Is Getting A 3D Makeover

Original Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Is Getting A 3D MakeoverWhile the Grand Theft Auto franchise might have had its popularity explode when it went 3D with Grand Theft Auto 3, we’re not sure how many gamers actually remember what the game used to look like back in the day where it was presented as a top-down game in 2D. It did not have the best graphics at that time, but its gameplay more than made up for it. In any case one of the creators of the first Grand Theft Auto, Michael Dailly, has decided to remake Liberty City in 3D.

Unfortunately this is not a remake of the game itself, but rather a reimagining of Liberty City from a 3D perspective. Dailly used GameMaker: Studio which is made by his current employer, YoYo Games, and instead of being a playable map, it would be more like a tour of Liberty City in 3D. At this point in time, Dailly has not decided what he plans to do with the 3D version of Liberty City, although adding gameplay will probably not be happening anytime soon, possibly due to copyright reasons we’re assuming. In any case if you’re a little nostalgic and want to see Dailly’s progress, hit up his Twitter account where he will be posting updates.

Rockstar Says Lost GTA Online Characters And Progress Will Remain Lost Forever

Rockstar Says Lost GTA Online Characters And Progress Will Remain Lost ForeverWhenever a new title or software is launched, the developer would do their level best to make sure that everything turns out right, or simply to have it work as intended without running into any other kinds of issues. We do know that GTA Online did not launch as smoothly as expected, although Rockstar did suggest a fix for the missing character bug while offering up to $500k in GTA currency as part of saying sorry. All the while, there was still a sliver of hope that the lost GTA Online characters could be retrieved, but it sees that Rockstar has stepped forward to confirm that both characters as well as progress lost in GTA Online are unable to be restored.

This particular confirmation arrived in the form of a comment from Rockstar concerning its latest update, as follows, “Hi everyone, For those that are still having any technical issues, as mentioned above there is a title update coming next week that will include more fixes including the vehicle loss one – and we will remain committed to continuing to fine-tune the game to address any and all issues to get GTA Online running as smooth as possible. For those asking about their lost characters or rank, those will not be able to be restored so we sincerely hope that this cash stimulus we’re giving out this month will help you get back on your feet or to make your new life in Los Santos & Blaine extra sweet.”
