GTA 4 Flappy Bird Mod Released

Flappy Bird was undoubtedly one of the biggest internet sensations of the new year. The frustrating game quickly gained global popularity, players found it highly addictive, which is apparently the reason why its developer decided to take it down and effectively kill Flappy Bird. Since then dozens of clones and mockups have found their way online, but obviously they’re not quite as popular as the original game. After making its way on to GTA 5, the GTA 4 Flappy Bird mod has now been released.

Man Arrested In Japan For Allegedly Forcing A Nine Year Old To Play GTA 4 Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto franchise was definitely not designed for children in mind, but with that being said, we’re pretty sure there are plenty of parents out there who are perfectly okay with their kids playing the game, which many have deemed to be violent. Unfortunately not all kids relish the idea of playing such games and over in Japan, a man was recently arrested for allegedly forcing a nine year old child to play Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV for hours of end whenever his mom wasn’t around. The man, a male nurse by the name of Maasa Kawabata, was arrested over allegations that he had forced his wife’s son from a previous marriage to play the game.

According to the authorities, he made the child play the game from anywhere between 2-3 hours a day for 2-3 weeks straight whenever the mom was out. The mom only found out about the possible abuse when the child complained of headaches and nausea, which the doctor diagnosed as dystutonomia which is stress allegedly brought upon by playing the game. Kawabata is refuting those allegations, claiming that he did not force the child to play. Over in Japan the game has been given the rating “Z”, making the game playable only by those aged 18 and over due to its violence and brutality.

GTA 4 Mod Looks Unbelievably Realistc

Without doubt the past week has been all about Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5, what with the game generating $1 billion in sales making it something of a commercial success, but let’s not forget about some of Rockstar’s older titles, and GTA 4 comes to mind. While GTA 5 features some pretty amazing graphics, GTA 4 is one of those games which modders have come to love and in this particular mod by darkdeus, well the screenshot above is actually from the game itself, although we can’t blame you if you thought that it was an actual photograph! In fact if you hit up the Reddit thread, you will be able to find the rest of the screenshots of the mod which looks unbelievable.

This is actually a collection of mods used at the same time within the game, and for those looking to recreate a similar experience, the mods used are “Better City Textures, GTA IV Road Textures by Fonias, Supreme Vehicle Conversion Pack-140 vehicles, Traffic Control System V1.0B, DKTronics70 Vegetation, First Person mod by C06alt.” Given the number of mods and just how amazing it looks, you will need the right hardware as well, so your mileage will definitely vary if you were to try and recreate the experience for yourself, but what do you guys think?
