It was just last week when Rockstar Games announced they would be making Grand Theft Auto Online players rich beyond their wildest hopes and dreams by giving a $500,000 GTA$ stimulus package as a way to thank their fans for putting up with the launch issues the service had in the first few weeks of its launch. Now that many of the issues behind Grand Theft Auto Online are behind us, Rockstar is announcing the first piece of DLC for the title will be available on November 19, called the Beach Bum DLC. Rockstar has been trying to make good on its previous launch issues with Grand Theft Auto Online by offering players a ton of in-game cash as a way to make things up to players who experienced the service’s growing pains, although it looks like not all of the issues can be fixed. If you’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto Online and have been enjoying making tons of cash when replaying missions, your joyride is now over as Rockstar has confirmed repeating missions will only pay out half of the usual amount of in-game cash. If you’re a gamer, chances are pretty high you’ve been spending much of your time playing Grand Theft Auto 5 ever since it was released. Just last week, Rockstar Games released the game’s online multiplayer mode, Grand Theft Auto Online, although its launch didn’t go as smooth as the company had originally anticipated. Grand Theft Auto Online players have had to endure quite a bit in order to actually use the mode, which is why Rockstar is rewarding all of us for experiencing all of the hiccups GTA Online experienced over the past week. GTA Online Players To Receive $500k GTA$ To Make Up For Its Troubled Launch original content from Ubergizmo.

When the much awaited GTA Online update was launched for Rockstar’s GTA 5, it did come with its set of problems which is common during the start. Some of the issues had to do with logging in, but now according to reports, there are claims where players have lost their characters, progress, items, and in-game cash. Rockstar has since acknowledged that this is one of the issues that they are working on to resolve, stating that, “We have received reports from some players who experienced losing characters, progress, items, and/or in-game cash during the first few days after release […] We are working diligently to identify and correct the causes for these losses, as well as to establish how best to restore any lost progress and value.”

Rockstar has recently rolled out a patch meant to address some of the issues that were experienced by both Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers, but we guess this was one of the problems that has yet to be fixed. As usual there’s really no telling how long it will take for Rockstar to come up with a solution to fix this particular problem, but safe to say it looks like GTA Online players can expect their experience to not be optimal, at least for the foreseeable future. Rockstar has announced that the update that sends GTA Online will be available today. In fact, the update should available right now with Rockstar having said this morning that the update was expected to be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation gamers by 7 AM Eastern Time.

Once you have a copy of the game, you can download a small online update and then get access to the GTA Online world. The world of GTA Online is set a few months prior to the events that happened in GTA 5. The online world you see now isn’t all players will have access to, with Rockstar planning significant enhnancements in the future.

Sometime this fall Rockstar plans to launch a Content Creator tool that will allow players to set up custom Race and Deathmatch Jobs. The online game also offers an extensive character creation system that lets players fine-tune every aspect of the character from looks to personality.
