GTA Online Update Coming Today for Xbox and PS3

GTA V gamers around the world were absolutely thrilled earlier this week when GTA Online finally launched. Unfortunately, many players were unable to get online and play due to overwhelming server demand. There have been some issues reported with GTA Online and Rockstar announced last night that would be issuing an update for the game today.

GTA Online micro-transactions are currently disabled, but one of the biggest problems is that some users are reporting saved data is being deleted. This problem is reportedly causing people to waste money on cash cards.

There’s no indication of if this patch will also address the problem some gamers were having with their cars disappearing from their virtual garages. It would be very irritating to spend lots of time and money upgrading a car in the game only to have it disappear. Hopefully that issue will be addressed with this patch.

Once you have a copy of the game, you can download a small online update and then get access to the GTA Online world. The world of GTA Online is set a few months prior to the events that happened in GTA 5. The online world you see now isn’t all players will have access to, with Rockstar planning significant enhnancements in the future.

Sometime this fall Rockstar plans to launch a Content Creator tool that will allow players to set up custom Race and Deathmatch Jobs. The online game also offers an extensive character creation system that lets players fine-tune every aspect of the character from looks to personality.

You can find more details of GTA Online over on Rockstar’s website, or if you already own the game, you should be able to dive right in by now. And if you have any issues accessing the game, check out this page for status updates.

Easily Turn Your iPhone 5 Into GTA V's iFruit

Grand Theft Auto has long been known for parodying everything from vehicles, to advertising, to pop culture, to even the technology that dominates the time. So it’s not surprising to see one of the characters in the recently released GTA V using an iPhone parody called the iFruit. And now you can actually get your hands on one—kind of.

Real Life Grand Theft Auto Would Be Way More Fun Than GTA V

As an ode to Niko Bellic from GTA IV, Andrew McMurry imagined what a real life version of GTA would look like. He can cue up outfit changes, special powers, rocket launchers and the ability to ditch the cops. Can you imagine all the chaos you would create in such a lawless world? GTA 5 Box Art To Be Unveiled Soon?

GTA 5 Box Art To Be Unveiled Soon?I am quite sure by now that there has been way too much buzz surrounding Grand Theft Auto V, that fans of the franchise, as well as those who have yet to give a single title in the hugely successful game franchise a go in the past and are willing to do so soon, cannot but wait impatiently for a release. After being treated to screenshots of GTA V which treated fans to different views of Los Santos, it seems that the box art of the game itself is being unveiled in a mural right smack in New York City itself.

The mural, as you can see above, is not fully up just yet, albeit it is partially available, but you can already see the GTA V logo clearly. Not only that, said mural seems to follow a similar multi-paned layout that can be found in previous GTA games’ box art. Originally, the box art was planned for a January release, but I guess plans do change from time to time, and if the game is superb because of changes made that caused a delay, I am all for it. How about you?
