Mass Effect M-6 Carnifex Replica Pistol Is a Krogans Best Friend

If you’re a big fan of the Mass Effect franchise, you’ll undoubtedly remember the M-6 Carnifex pistol. We’ve seen some really cool replicas of weapons from the video game in the past, like the N7 rifle replica, but you couldn’t buy that particular replica. ThinkGeek has a Carniflex replica that you can purchase, if you hurry.

The company has a limited edition of 500 Carnifex replica pistols available for the entire world. The highly detailed replica isn’t exactly cheap at $399.99(USD), but I guarantee you it’s cheaper than having your own replica commissioned. ThinkGeek says that this is a full-scale replica of the game weapon.

carnifex 3 300x250

The side arm is also an officially licensed Mass Effect 3 collectible and is hand-finished and hand-painted. Its made from Polystone and weighs in at a substantial seven pounds. The replica measures 12.5″(L)x 7.5″(H) x 1.75″(W). It also has working LED lights to give it that deadly glow. You can purchase the pistol right now, but you’d better move fast as there’s no indication of how many have been sold so far.

Triple Barrel Shotgun: Because More is Always Better, Right?

Shotguns are great for dealing out the maximum damage over a large area. Double barrels, sawed off, it’s all good. But it doesn’t get any better than this triple barrel shotgun. Especially when you’re talking about the zombie apocalypse. You want something that takes their entire torso off.

The Chiappa Triple Threat has three times the stopping power of a traditional shotgun. Zombies won’t stand a chance against this thing. Neither will aliens, mutants, or vampires.

That third barrel doesn’t come cheap though. This thing will cost you $1629(USD). Totally worth it. This thing would probably put a hole right through an elephant. I wonder how many barrels it would take for the shooter get knocked on his butt from the kickback.

Halo Needler Replica is Epic Volpin Propage

We have seen some incredibly cool props come from the replicating geeks over at Volpin Props. One of my favorites was the Terrible Shotgun from Fallout 3. The latest build to surface is definitely of the quality we expect prop maker Harrison Krix, and this time it comes from the Halo universe. What you see here is a realistic replica of the Needler gun complete with lights and sound effects.

The prop was commissioned for Tested, and it’s incredibly cool. According to Volpin, the replica required 15 molds to cast its 24 individual parts. All told, there are 54 LEDs used to make the needles and other components glow.

It’s not exactly a lightweight prop with the finished product weighing in at about 10 pounds. The replica pistol also plays three different Halo sound effects. If you want to see how the replica was built, you need to check out the time-lapse video below, and read the build log over on Tested.

Giant .44 Magnum Mailbox: Let’s Hope it’s Not Loaded

I’m not sure if the USPS approves of this, but this awesomely unusual mailbox by Roger Buchko is currently making the rounds on the Internet. Understandably so, since instead of the usual plain box, this one is in the shape of a giant.Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum handgun.

It takes up considerable space on Roger’s lawn in rural New Jersey. It’s mighty heavy, too. The gun part weighs about 350 pounds, while its base is much heavier – weighing in at a whopping 1,200 pounds.

Roger supports gun rights but he said that he didn’t build the huge letterbox to send some sort of message. Being a semi-retired cabinet maker, he just wanted to make one after seeing others post similar designs on the web.

Of his unusual mailbox, Roger says: “I  put it out there to try to get some work and because I needed a new mailbox. At least 500 people have taken pictures of it already. They love it. I haven’t had one hater yet, except one night somebody threw eggs on it. I’m lucky. I expected everybody was going to hate me but turns out everybody loves me.”

London museum turns 3D-printed Liberator guns into works of art

London museum turns 3Dprinted Liberator gun into a work of art

Home to some of the world’s rarest pieces of art, London’s Victoria & Albert (V&A) museum has just added a modern, yet controversial piece to its collection: the world’s first 3D-printed weapon. The museum has managed to get its hands on the two prototype Liberator pistols which were successfully fired by their creator Cody Wilson back in May, offering London’s culture lovers the chance to view the original $25 do-it-yourself plastic firearm in all its glory. The gun has come under fire for supposedly aiding terrorist threats, leading the State Department to demand Defense Distributed take down online copies of the Liberator’s schematics. The V&A could have simply printed their own models, downloading the blueprints like 100,000 other people, but Wilson claims the originals add a sense of authenticity. One of the models is so authentic, it’ll go on show with half of its right side blown off, because, y’know, guns.

Double-barrel Pistol-grip Sawed-off Shotgun BBQ Grill: The Smoking Gun

Bang! Your meat is done. This sawed-off shotgun grill is the manliest grill you will see all day. Just load your meat up in the chamber and start cooking.
shotgun grill
This grill smokes out of both barrels as if you just fired. And you did. You fired a shot full of smoky delicious flavor. It takes a five gallon tank of fuel in the pistol grip – this one time it’s okay to mix guns and propane tanks. It also has some nice wide wheels for your next beach party in the sand.

It will only cost you $9,550(USD) from California artist firesculptureart. As far as I’m concerned, that’s a bargain for a huge sawed off shotgun that cooks meat and smokes out of the barrels. And if shotguns aren’t your weapon of choice, they offer a few other gunshaped BBQ grills.

Compact Rifle Makes Shooting at Stuff Even Better

We all love to shoot stuff, but who wants to lug around a heavy long gun, even after you finish shooting those moonshine bottles on a log while your best friend Cletus watches? Nobody. That’s why Henry’s compact rifle is designed to be dismantled, with the parts stored inside the butt. No, no worries, the rifle’s butt.

Bullet Blossom Ring: Guns N’ Roses for Your Finger

It’s not often that you see a ring made from a bullet that you could see women wearing. These Bullet Blossom rings are just that. Bang and bloom in one. It’s the softer side of firearm ammunition.

bullet blossom ring
The rings are made from Colt .45 ACP bullet casings that are cut and curled into a beautiful and unique rosette. They’re then soldered to an 18-gauge brass backplate. To top it all off, a Swarovski crystal in the color of your choice is inserted in place of the primer, trading its bang for some bling.

It’s what you get the gun-toting gal who has everything. Plus, if a woman is wearing a bullet on her finger that you gave her, I’m pretty sure she will be yours forever.

The Bullet Blossom ring is available from Gun Goddess, and sells for $45(USD), and is also available in nickel.
