Fog is a big part of any good Halloween festivities. You have to have fog. It’s the stuff ghouls and ghosts rise out of. Well if you want to have a cool fog effect for your next halloween party and don’t want to pay a lot of money, you can make a fog machine out of a pumpkin.
You only need a few items like a pumpkin, glycerine, distilled water, an aluminium ashtray or bowl, some toothpicks, air-drying clay, transparent paper, florist’s wire, some tealights and some drawing pins. You’ll carve the pumpkin, make some teeth for it. Then just follow the rest of the steps over at instructables and before you know it, you’ll have your very own pumpkin fog machine.
The finished product shown here looks pretty cool. Pumpkins look more evil with fog coming out of their mouths.
Top Ten Baby Halloween Costumes
Posted in: Today's ChiliHalloween costumes for babies are their first initiation into the one
holiday of the year that requires them to be someone else. Yes, even though
your baby don’t even ‘what’ they are, let alone ‘who’ they are, this
doesn’t stop parents from wanting to confuse them even more, by dressing them up in a
clever disguise.
These cupcakes are just plain nasty. But that’s what makes them so perfect for Halloween.
They were baked and decorated by Twisted Fondant, who aptly named them the “Mango Fly Larvae Cupcakes.” Or you could just call them the maggot cupcakes, for short.
The cupcakes look pretty plain, with just a seemingly innocent white dot at the center. But you’ll know something’s up once they hand you a pair of gloves and tweezers along with the cupcake.
There’s nothing else to do but use the tweezers to pull the white (and thankfully, not wriggling) maggot out from the center. Then, as doctors do in actual cases, you’re supposed to squeeze the pus out of the hole.
Of course, you are then expected to eat the entire thing as if these are the type of cupcakes you see and eat every day.
These were made for the Eat Your Heart Out pop-up cake shop, which will be popping up in London later this year.

If you’re a procrastinator like me you probably haven’t even thought about what you’re going to dress up as for Halloween yet. Don’t fear, there are still plenty of cool costumes out there that you won’t be embarrassed to wear to a Halloween party. ThinkGeek has some cool Borderlands masks that will make you look like a character from one of the coolest video games franchises around.
Two different masks are available including the iconic psycho bandit or Handsome Jack. Both masks are made of latex. The masks are held on the face using an elastic band. The Psycho Bandit also has elastic over the top of the head to help keep it in place.
Both masks are available right now for $29.99(USD). The mask is all you get, so you’ll have to come up with the rest of the costume on your own. If you go with the Psycho Bandit, you’ll probably need a bald wig, some LED eyeballs, a buzz-axe prop and six-pack abs to complete the look. On the other hand, all you need for Handsome Jack is a dapper hairdo and a suit.
Kids love LEGO Minifigs. They also love crayons. Halloween too. Heck, kids love just about everything but brussel sprouts. These Halloween themed LEGO Minifig crayons will keep your little tykes busy coloring in style while you do other important things. Like play with LEGO bricks.
These cute minifigs with crayons inside were created by Etsy artist CynsSensations and are a treat not a trick. You get 24 per order for $20(USD). If you want them personalized, she can do that too. The name will be placed on the bottom of the minifigs’ shirts.
Pretty cool. However, you better hurry if you want some. The last day to order for Halloween delivery is October 18th. I bet you don’t have these in your LEGO collection.
Tired of dressing up as a sexy nurse every Halloween? Then do something different this year and dress up as a sexy slice of pizza, a sexy carton of French fries, or even a sexy (and definitely not stinky) skunk instead.
Costume seller Yandy is at it again with their newly-released costume designs featuring a bevy of junk food and random animals. Only instead of going for fluffy and adorable, they went for adorable and sexy instead.
In a strange way, it works. This is probably the only time where you can say that someone dressed as a sexy slice of pizza and actually managed to pull it off. You can check out more of these costumes in the gallery below.
The costumes are available from Yandy, from about $30 and upwards.

Thomas Edison is remembered for his contributions to many great innovations, including the phonograph, the light bulb, and the movie camera. But few people today remember one of his most spectacular failures: a talking doll that was the must-have Christmas toy in 1890. There was just one little problem with the dolls. They sounded like they were possessed by demons.
