Microsoft Office — y’know, Word, Excel, Powerpoint et al. — is the software that work happens on. You’ve most likely used it before. Well, there are big changes afoot in Microsoft Land: you don’t buy the newest version of Microsoft Office, you rent it. That means monthly or yearly fees. Sure, the cloud aspects of Office 365 are pretty cool, but the fact you don’t own software you bought is a bummer, especially since that’s the way Office has worked for nearly a quarter of a century. Everyone needs a pair of cheap, no-frills earbuds to kick around. Stick ’em in a drawer, or your glove compartment, or your daily bag and they’ll save your butt when you need to listen to sound coming out of a 3.5mm jack. While there are a ton of super-cheap, under-$20 earbuds on the market, there aren’t many that aspire to produce great sound.
