HTC One Max Non-Final Press Render A Fake, Says HTC

HTC One Max Non Final Press Render A Fake, Says HTCWhenever a particular device is about to be released to the market, you can be sure that the rumor vultures would be circling it, waiting to pounce on whatever “bone” that is thrown out, and of course, it remains to the reader to discern whether that particular rumor is true or not, and sometimes, common sense would come in to prevail, too. The “non-final” press image of what is alleged to be the HTC One Max that we saw yesterday? It might seem to be the real deal, but HTC has stepped forward to say that it is but a fake.

According to leading HTC’s senior global online communications manager Jeff Gordon who commented over at Engadget, “Fake. @evleaks is way off his game”. Gordon did clarify over his Twitter account @urbanstrata, touting, “Me: Try to make a helpful comment on @engadget about the company I work for. Engadget commenter: ‘Get out of here, troll’.” Guess that’s that for the moment, as the HTC One Max, also known as the HTC T6 if model names and numbers are your cup of tea, would probably look different from what we have seen so far, and as to whether that is a good or bad thing, I leave it entirely to you.

HTC One Max Non-Final Image Leaked

HTC One Max Non Final Image LeakedIt goes without saying that a particular smartphone that is about to roll out would most probably experience its fair share of leaks, and the HTC One Max, also known as the T6 if code names are your cup of tea, is one of them. We have seen at least a couple of HTC One Max leaked images in the past – purported ones, they are, not to mention a teaser to boot. This time around, serial leaksters @evleaks has unveiled a non-final image of the HTC One Max, but we are quite sure that the final version will most probably look something like what you see in the above, and most folks would just think of it as a giant HTC One.

This is a pretty interesting line of thought – to move along to the “Max” suffix in the name, instead of the “Mini” suffix that we have seen various smartphone manufacturers do in the past. So far, rumored specifications of the HTC One Max includea 5.9 inch Full HD display, an UltraPixel camera at the back, 2GB RAM, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 16GB of internal memory, and a 3,300 mAh battery. We are also keeping our fingers crossed to see Android 4.3 Jelly Bean come on board when it arrives, too.

HTC One Max Pictured Yet Again

HTC One Max Pictured Yet Again

Since last month we have been consistently hearing rumors about a HTC phablet. It was initially known as the T6, now the much rumored device is widely known as the HTC One Max. The Taiwan based company hasn’t made an official announcement yet, no one knows right now when it will unveil this device. We’ve seen the One Max get pictured a couple of times in the past as well, yet another picture of this device has surfaced. We can see the massive HTC One Max 5.9 inch display, rumored, being compared with a Motorola XT882 which has a 4 inch display.

The picture gives us an idea of just how big the display on this device actually is. While we’re on the subject of big things, yesterday HTC posted a six second teaser clip on its official Vine channel, touting that there were “big things ahead.” The teaser strongly hints at the imminent launch of the One Max. Rumor has it that the company might formally announce it at the IFA conference in Berlin next month, where Samsung has already scheduled its Galaxy Note 3 event. Let the battle of the phablets begin! HTC Posts Potential One Max Teaser Online

HTC Posts Potential One Max Teaser Online

There have been a lot of rumors recently about the HTC One Max, the company’s first phablet. It is essentially going to be an enlarged HTC One, with a massive 5.9 inch display. Only yesterday we saw a leaked picture of this device. Back when we were hearing HTC One Mini rumors, an infographic was posted on the company’s official blog which hinted at an imminent release of the device. HTC has now posted a six second teaser clip on Vine, which might be a subtle indication towards the possible launch of HTC One Max.

Simply captioned “Big things ahead. #HTChange,” the clip is a bit unorthodox, with a man stepping off a helicopter and slapping a man’s hand. The hint lies in the caption itself, if anything, a 5.9 inch display can definitely be called big. Still, we must wait for the actual invites to be rolled out before we can be absolutely certain that HTC is on the verge of unveiling the One Max. Recent rumors suggest that the launch might take place at the IFA conference in Berlin, where Samsung has already scheduled an event for its Galaxy Note 3 phablet.

HTC’s Plus-Sized One Max Is A 6-Inch Phablet Said To Launch In September

    htc-one-review02

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it — just build it in a variety of sizes for profit. Duh!

That seems to be the thinking over at HTC, as MobileGeeks has surfaced some new information regarding HTC’s One line. According to the rumors, HTC will unveil a giant-sized version of the flagship HTC One with a 6-inch 1080p display, dubbed the One Max.

This follows some other recent rumors that point to a smaller version of the HTC One, as well, likely to be called the HTC One Mini. While the One Mini is expected to debut in July, based on rumors, MobileGeeks has the One Max pegged for September.

The guys also nailed down some specs, which include a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, 2GB of RAM, a 3200mAh battery and either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. Plus, you can expect the phone to look quite a bit like its stylish predecessor the HTC One.

However, not much else is known about the device, though some have been speculating we may see some sort of stylus input on the device, considering it’s clearly aimed at competing with the Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung has dominated the phablet market with the Note series, which must be hard news for HTC as the Taiwanese phone maker failed to enchant the market with a 7-inch tablet called the Flyer, which offered text input via an $80 stylus. Unfortunately, the Flyer didn’t fly at all really.

Perhaps leveraging the One branding alongside new device sizes will yield better results.
