Cigarettes are bad for you. No one—not even the guy smoking on the street corner right now—will argue that. But e-cigarettes are just ridiculous looking. It looks like you’re playing with a dumb toy that lights up and annoys people because you get to smoke vapor indoors. Heck, James Dean couldn’t even make e-cigs look cool. So let’s make it look even dumber! Jordan Morris upped the douche factor of e-cigs in this video above. [Jordan Miller via Geekosystem]
The Internet is not that hard. We all know that, right? But some people out there (probably duckface selfie-ing on Facebook right now) just aren’t very good at the Internet. They just don’t get it. They don’t know that Google answers any question, they can’t spell, they take too many selfies, they obliterate your feed with I love you’s to their girlfriend or boyfriend and worst of all, they do it too damn much by posting so often. This is why we can’t have nice things.
Boobs, tatas, naughty pillows, fun bags—we’ve got so many nicknames and objectifications for the human breast that the fact that they’re still attached to people is often ignored. NYC-based artist and animator, Louisa Bertman recounts her own youthful obsession with obtaining the "perfect" set in this frenetic, sometimes explicit but ultimately touching and thought-provoking animated short.
Moms are the coolest. Not because they birthed you into this world, not because they raised you, not because they can never stop taking care of you but because there was a point in time where she wasn’t a mom yet. And she gave that all up to create another human. So never doubt that your mom only knows how to mother, she knows everything you did before you did. Even the shocker. Hell, she knows more about that than you do too.
It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about the Xbox One versus the PlayStation 4. The 360 versus the PS3. Pitting Xbox Live against PlayStation Plus. Comparing Microsoft and Sony. Even including Windows Phone with the PSP. Whatever. Any argument between Xbox fanboys and PlayStation fanboys eventually reaches the point where they’re both so thankful that they’re not Nintendo fanboys. How about that 2DS guys!
Tech Ad Parody Video Is Hilarious
Posted in: Today's ChiliOver the past couple of years we have seen a variety of advertisements tech companies have released for their products. While each advertisement takes a different route, they do have a certain “theme” to it and it is this theme that the folks at College Humor have decided to parody. For instance they poke fun at how a majority of these ads seem to rely on indie rock music, or young people with creative-type jobs, cute children, and even similar editing styles!
We have to admit that it is pretty spot on in terms of its parody, and all you’d have to do is insert a product name and the actual product into the video itself and well, you might never know the difference! In any case if you’re looking for a little bit of humor to end the week with, take a couple of minutes out of your day and check it out in the video above. So what do you guys think? Do you agree with the parody that most tech ads seem to made along these lines?

People finishing each other’s sentences. Indie rock. Video editing that’s way too fast. CollegeHumor is spot-on in its demonstration of how every tech commercial is exactly the same.
