When we tell the future children of the world that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, they’ll stare at their iPad and wonder what the hell a book is. Does that old fart mean an app? When we tell them to scratch our back and we’ll scratch theirs, they’ll wonder why are we even talking to each other in IRL. And when we say close, but no cigar… well, actually even I have no idea why that ever made sense.
I’m probably not as big a fan as some of you guys when it comes to Daria and/or Aubrey Plaza but even I have to admit Aubrey Plaza as Daria in a real life movie of Daria is all kinds of awesome. I’d actually like it if more movies and TV shows flip flopped into different style: Game of Thrones as an animated movie Pixar-style, Wall-E as a premium cable TV show and so on.
Microsoft Word Problems

Having fun taking pictures of slushy drinks in highball glasses on perfectly distressed hardwood tables and hashtagging it #happyhour? What about posting pictures of the sky and clouds that look like every other picture of the sky and cloud and commenting how ‘this is just how I feel right now’? These are the Instagram pictures we see everyday! But that’s because we’re mere humans. What would superheroes post to Instagram?
Yawn In Front Of It, and this Coffee Machine Will Give You a Free Cup of Joe
Posted in: Today's ChiliThis coffee machine, aptly called “Bye Bye Red Eye”, doesn’t want your money. Instead, it wants to give you a cup of coffee – provided you prove that you really need it, that is. How? By yawning in front of it.
Most people drink coffee as a perk-me-up and to vanquish sleepiness, so the folks behind Douwe Egberts’s are using that with their latest marketing campaign. The coffee machine was set up at the O.R. Tambo International Airport in South Africa, where facial recognition software has been installed in place of a regular slot for bills and change.
All people had to do to get a cup of coffee was stand in front of the machine and yawn. The machine dispensed a steaming cup of coffee for their enjoyment.
During the course of the campaign, over 210 yawns were each rewarded with a cup of delicious joe.
