I-O Data has introduced another Full HD monitor to its line-up, the LCD-MF225XBR2. Adopting the ‘Blue Light reduction function’ for reducing eyestrain, this new 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/170 degree viewing angles. I-O Data is set to drop their latest wireless LAN repeater, the WN-AC1300EX. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WN-AC1300EX supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 1300Mbps), has a WPS button and provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES), WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES) and WEP (64/128bit). I-O Data has unveiled another one of its upcoming 24x internal DVD writer, the DVR-SA24ET2. Coming in two different bezel colors: black and white, the drive features a SATA connection interface, ultra-high-speed writing support and can provide write speeds of up to 24x for DVD-R/+R. The DVR-SA24ET2 will go on sale from mid-April for 4,700 Yen (about $46) and will come with a free video editing software ‘LoiLoScope 2′ for 30 days. [I-O Data]

I-O Data is preparing to release another dual-band WiFi router, the WN-AC1600DGR2. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), the WN-AC1600DGR2 is equipped with a WPS button, a USB port for reading external HDD, one Internet LAN port, four LAN ports, ‘WiFi setting migration’ function (can migrate the configuration of an existing router with the push of a button on the body) and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 1300Mbps).
