Grid: Created by Josh Leong, Grid allows you to put any type of multimedia into tiles of a grid that are whatever size you want. You can make grids that mix photos, text, Google Maps data, symbols, whatever. And they’re sharable so you can collaborate with other users. If you’ve ever used a GoogleDoc to organize a group of people, this is the beautiful version of that. Grid is only for iOS right now, but at least it’s free. All you visual thinkers get crackin’. Imgur: Imgur, everyone’s favorite super simple image hosting site, has had an Android app out for about a month now. As of today, though, the app is also available for iOS users, and now nearly everyone can be just a little bit less productive, together. You can do virtually everything you’d be doing on the web: browse images, upload, and manage your account and albums. And of course, all the interactive features that make Imgur such a huge draw are in teh app in full force. You can comment and vote on other people’s uploads to your heart’s content. [Free]

The iPad offerings were all over the place, jumping from intensive weather details to a news-reading puppy to enough emoji to ensure that you never have to use words for feelings ever again. But then again, that’s what life is all about, after all—anthropomorphized dogs and avoiding face-to-face human interactions at all costs. Or something like that.

It was an accident, I thought it was just regular old water, but no, it’s some foul mix of whatever the dentist gives you right before he gives you the water cup to spit that crap out and tin foil. For whatever reason, this week saw more awesome iPad apps coming to our attention than we’ve seen in a while. And what’s more, a lot of them are only for iPad—iPhone needs be damned. So if you’re someone who’s Pad is king, you’re going to like what we’ve got in store this week.
