Pizza Perfume Makes You Smell Good Enough to Eat

Pizza is one of the awesomest things made since sliced bread. I’m still somewhere in the middle though, when it comes to these pizza-scented fragrances from the Demeter Fragrance Library. While the idea is completely fun and out there, I’m not sure I want to go to work smelling like a freshly-baked pie.

The scent is described as containing notes of “tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, [and] a touch of oregano.” In short, it will probably leave you smelling like your average pizza pie.

The cologne is just one of Demeter’s many pizza-themed offerings. Others include roll-on perfume oil, body lotion, shower gel, massage oil, atmosphere spray, and atmosphere diffuser oil. You can find pricing info on Demeter’s site.

Call of Duty Ghosts Riley Figurine: Such Sculpture

Etsy shop BabbitsBoutique is selling this awesome handmade figurine of Riley, the fictional German Shepherd more famously known as the Call of Duty: Ghosts dog. He looks kind of harmless here though. He doesn’t exactly look like the sort of animal who can take down a helicopter. Not that any animal looks like that.

The shop says the figurine is 5″ high and was “[s]culpted from Super Sculpey polymer clay over a wire armature for durability, painted with acrylics, and sprayed with a matte sealer for protection.”

Insult Magnets Send a Message to Inconsiderate Parkers

Some drivers are horrible parkers. Some are careless, there are others go out of their way to be rude, while some just can’t help it. Regardless of which kind of bad parker they are, they’re still bad parkers all the same. And for that, their cars deserve to be magneted. Okay, so I just made that word up.

Do Your Park2magnify

Sticking these Do Your Park magnets onto cars might not seem to do much, at least, in the physical sense, but the insults printed on them will send a message that the recipient isn’t likely to forget. Each pack contains ten magnets with an assortment of insults, ranging from subtle to in-your-face cracks about their inability to park courteously.

The Do Your Park magnets are available online for $12(USD). That’s way cheaper than the bill you’ll pay for keying their car.

Ford Mustang Gets a Pinball Machine: Ponyball!

I’m probably dating myself by saying that two of my passions are Ford Mustangs and pinball machines, but I don’t care. Clearly, there’s a market for old fogies like me, or else Ford and Stern Pinball wouldn’t be teaming up to create a series of Mustang-themed pinball machines.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, Stern is releasing special pinball machines to honor America’s classic pony car.

There will be three variants of the machine, one which celebrates Mustang heritage, a premium game featuring the Boss 302, Boss 351 and Boss 429, and a limited edition machine which pays homage to both the 1964-1/2 original ‘stang and the shiny new 2015 model.

If you happen to be fortunate enough to be headed to the Chicago Auto Show this month, you might even get a chance to play the machines in person.

The Mustang Pro pinball machine is in production now, and can be ordered from Stern Pinball.

Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time there was a Mustang pinball machine. That honor goes Chicago Coin Company, who created a Mustang game all the way back in 1964, the year the Mustang was first revealed.

Pissed at Someone? Pee on Them with PPShots

Some people just get in your face and do all sorts of mean and disrespectful stuff, even if you didn’t do a thing to them. There’s no sense in arguing or rationalizing with people like that, simply because they started out by acting without sense, reason, or logic.

So to deal with your frustrations, anger, and annoyance, just pee on them.

PPShotsNot on them in person, but on their image via PPShots.

PPShots is essentially a waterproof (pee-proof? poop-proof?) sleeve that can hold a photo of whatever or whoever you’re angry at. Just slip the picture into the cast, stick it into your toilet bowl, and go.

PPShots are sold in packs of two for $10(USD) over on Amazon.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Character Kits: Cosplay Canon

Video game characters are some of the most popular cosplay models. Unsurprisingly, many employees at game developer BioWare also love to cosplay. Those employees decided to make it easier for cosplayers to replicate the appearance of the characters in their upcoming RPG Dragon Age: Inquisition by releasing what they call Character Kits.

The Character Kits contain information such as specific colors, materials and the fashion sense of characters. The first kit is for Dragon Age mainstay Morrigan.

This should make it much easier for cosplayers and other craftsmen – bakers, illustrators, etc. – to emulate the costumes.

Dress up as a browser and head to the BioWare Blog to download the Morrigan Character Kit. Be sure to check back from time to time to grab the others when they’re released.

Wall-E Toy Robot Mod Adds Voice Recognition & Proximity Sensors

Adriá García of DIYMakers augmented a Wall-E toy by making it work with voice commands and giving it the means to move on its own and avoid obstacles. It doesn’t compact garbage or collect curios, but at least it can dance.

Adriá used an Arduino Uno as Wall-E’s new brain. Two infrared proximity sensors help the toy detect obstacles, actuators move its arms and head and two continuous servo motors power its tracks. Adriá used the EasyVR module for voice recognition.

AUTO, navigate to DIYMakers for more details on Adriá’s mod.

Settlers of Catan Globe: Catanosphere

Instructables settler PenfoldPlant traded Settlers of Catan’s flat board game for a globe. A modified truncated icosahedron, to be exact. The result is a multipurpose piece that can serve as decoration, a container for game pieces and yes, a playing surface, albeit one that’s not as convenient as the original.

PenfoldPlant calls his creation the Catanosphere. If it looks like a lot of work, that’s because it is. You’ll need lots of glue, nearly 500 small magnets and a steady hand for this project.

settlers of catan catanosphere by PenfoldPlant 2magnify

Also, as you may have noticed some of the Catanosphere’s spaces for the tiles are pentagonal, but the game’s tiles are all hexagonal. So you’ll have to make or print pentagon-shaped copies of the tiles as well.

The globe’s shape and the presence of pentagonal tiles also affect the game somewhat, though PenfoldPlant believes that you can still play with the exact same rules as the original.

Tiny Guitars are Finger Pluckin’ Insane

I’ve tried playing the guitar on a few occasions in my life, but I always got frustrated with proper fret placement that I like to blame on my fat fingers rather than my lack of coordination. So when I saw these miniature guitar models from Japan, I realized that things could be a whole lot worse for me.

These 10 inch-tall Guitar Legend models from Media Factory are incredibly detailed 1/8th scale versions of authentic electric and bass guitars, from brands including Fender, Gretsch, Ovation and Zemaitis.

Each one is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but no detail has been left out – other than the ability to actually play them. Depending on the model, they include accessories such as tiny guitar stands and cases as well.

Geeky Willow Plates: Calamityware

If you missed out on Olly Moss’ limited edition 8-bit willow plates, Don Moyer’s Calamityware might be the next best thing. Don creates humorous dinner plates by using the ancient willow pattern to depict modern subjects. His first plate features the flying monkeys from The Wizard of Oz. Now he’s raising funds on Kickstarter to make plates with a giant robot on it.

To give you an idea of what the finished product will look like, here’s a sample of the flying monkey plate:
