Who needs a plain old ceiling fan when you can have this WWII fighter plane nose on your ceiling, complete with propeller? I hope the pilot isn’t an Ace, otherwise you are toast.

It isn’t a real warplane nose and propeller, but is instead a fun recreation that is perfect for your mancave or for any kid’s bedroom. It is painted just like the P-40 fighter jets were when used during WWII. The triple “warplane” blades operate on a reversible three-speed 153-by-12mm motor for optimal air movement, but this thing will never leave the ceiling and start chasing you.

I never played Pokémon growing up, but my son loved the cards for a long time. It seemed I couldn’t walk around the house without stepping on a card or Pokémon toy of some sort. One of the things that he tried to explain to me a few times was how exactly the Pokémon changed over time. A new set of Pokémon cards has turned up that shows how the kids and their families evolve alongside their Pokémon companions.

The first of the cards shows a little boy with his parents and a Tepig. The next card in the series show the boy a bit older with parents and a little sister in the picture with the Tepig evolved to a Pignite.

The final card in the series show the Tepig is now a full-grown Emboar, the boy grown up and married with kid of his own and the little sister grown up along with older parents. The cards also show the new stats for the Pokémon as it grows.

The cards launched in Japan as part of the EX Battle Boost expansion.

So what have we learned from this? Pokémon will surely outlive us all.

Paramount Digital Entertainment has launched the classiest mobile game ever conceived. The game is called Anchorman 2: Scotchy Scotch Toss and it’s the “greatest app n the history of western civilization.” The point of the game is to toss ice cubes into Ron’s glass of scotch.

The game has over 300 one-liners recorded by Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy. You can play against the computer (Ron) or play against friends. The game has four locations that are from the new film, including Ron’s RV, the Channel 4 News desk, Tino’s Jazz Bar and Ron’s apartment.

The game is available for iOS users for 99 cents on the App Store, and an Android version is coming soon.

“This game combines my two favorite things, scotch and playful exchanges with total strangers,” said Ron Burgundy.

If you are a big fan of Doctor Who, odds are you have more than a few Who themed items around your house. We always called them “the draft thing” at my grandmas house.

Apparently the British call them a “draught blocker.” Draught is how they spell draft apparently; I’m honestly surprised the word doesn’t have more instances of the letter U in its spelling.
