Here’s a look at another upcoming LCD monitor from BenQ, the BL2411PT. Adopting BenQ’s ‘Senseye 3′ image correction technology, this new 24-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1200 WUXGA native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 14ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Not to mention, it also comes with two built-in 1W stereo speakers, an adjustable stand and has D-Sub, DVI-D and DisplayPort connectors. ASUS has launched a new LCD monitor ‘PB248Q’ for the mass market. Supporting 100% reproduction of the sRGB color space, this 19.5-inch IPS monitor provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. It also has two built-in 1.5W stereo speakers and comes with D-Sub, DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. The PB248Q retails for 36,800 Yen (about $359). [ASUS]

NEC hits back by showing off their latest LCD monitor, the MultiSync P242W-BK. Adopting an AH-IPS panel, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles, and features DVI-D, D-Sub, HDMI, DisplayPort and 3-port USB hub. Lenovo has dropped their newest LCD monitor ‘ThinkVision LT2223z’ that comes with a built-in Full HD web camera. Adopting a TN panel, this new 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 3W stereo speakers, a digital microphone and a number of connectivity ports including mini D-Sub, HDMI, DisplayPort and a 2-port USB 3.0 hub. NEC is preparing to drop another LCD monitor, the MultiSync LCD-V463. Aimed at business users, this 46-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 6.5ms GTG response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 10W stereo speakers and a number of connectivity ports including DisplayPort, DVI-D, mini D-Sub, BNC and HDMI.
