The crank and clang of subway turnstiles is abrasive and annoying at the best of times. But James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem fame wants to make those noises better.
David Bowie’s newest album, The Next Day, is getting an expanded three-disc re-release on November 5. That was a surprise in and of itself, but it’s coming with a little extra: a rollicking ten-minute remix of the song "Love Is Lost," by James Murphy.

This barebones mashup by Alessandro Grespan and friends is made simply by playing the song along side Miles Davis’s trumpeting at the Elevator To The Gallows sessions and they fit together better than they have any right to.
