Century Japan will launch their newest mobile LCD monitor namely the Plus One LCD-8000U2. This 8.0-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 800 x 600 SVGA resolution, 500:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness. In addition, it also comes with a retractable tilt stand mounted on the rear of the unit and features a USB 2.0 connection interface. Here’s the newest addition to EIZO’s LCD monitor line-up, the FlexScan S2133-H. Adopting an IPS panel, this new 21.3-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and provides 1500:1 contrast ratio, 420 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles, and features D-Sub, DVI-D and DisplayPort connectors. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 1W stereo speakers and has D-Sub, DVI-D and DisplayPort connectors. The FlexScan T2381W will go on sale from April 2nd for 94,800 Yen (about $1,012). HP has unleashed a new Full HD monitor for the mass market, the ProDisplay P221. This 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/170 degree viewing angles, and features DVI-D and mini D-Sub connectors. Designed for the security market, this new 17-inch LED-backlight (TN panel) monitor provides 1280 x 1024 native resolution, 800:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness and 160/140 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 0.5W stereo speakers and has 1x RCA, 1x D-Sub and 1x BNC connectors. Aimed at business users, this 65-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 4000:1 contrast ratio, 450 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms GTG response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Not to mention, it also comes with two built-in 10W stereo speakers and a number of connectivity ports including DisplayPort, DVI-D, mini D-Sub, HDMI, BNC and LAN.
