EIZO has just showed off their newest LCD monitor, the ColorEdge CG276. Designed for professionals in digital photography, graphic design, video editing and post-production, this new 27-inch IPS monitor provides 2560 x 1440 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 320 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Not only that, the monitor also comes with a built-in calibration sensor, which corresponds to the auto-calibration in accordance with the schedule, and features a DVI-D port, an HDMI port, a DisplayPort and a 2-port USB 2.0 hub. ASUS is back with its latest LCD monitors namely the 23-inch VX238T and VX238H. Both models feature LED backlighting, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 250 cd/m2 of brightness level, a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000,000:1 and two built-in 1.5 W speakers. The ASUS VX238T and VX238H also adopt the Splendid Video Intelligence technology that optimizes video performance and image fidelity by enhancing color, brightness, contrast, and sharpness. Philips is ready to launch the new 27-inch monitor equipped with an AMVA (Advanced Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) panel (Model: 271P4QPJKEB/00). The 27-inch AMVA display features a W-LED backlight, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 178/178 degree viewing angles, a 6ms (GtG) response time, a 300 cd/m2 brightness level and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio (20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The Philips 271P4QPJKEB/00 also provides two built-in 2 Watts speakers, a 3-port USB 2.0 hub, a 2.0-megapixel camera, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. What makes this AMVA display interesting is that it has a “people sensor”, which automatically lowers brightness level when the user is not in front of the display. The BenQ VW2230H and VW2430H feature a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 4 ms (GtG) response time, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, a 250 cd/m2 brightness, an asymmetrical design, a white coating and a unique mobile phone holder.
