Leaked iPad Mini 2 Casing Shows a Possible ‘Space Gray’ Version

Leaked iPad Mini 2 Casing Shows a Possible 'Space Gray' Version

So with the iPhone 5S, Apple introduced a new ‘Space Gray’ color that is its new black. Not in that tired fashionista way where trends are considered the new black but in a completely literal way in that Apple is calling its black ‘Space Gray’. So maybe it’s not surprising that a supposedly leaked iPad Mini 2 casing shows that it’s also doused in ‘Space Gray’.

BlackBerry Z30 Pictured Next To The Xperia Z1

BlackBerry Z30 Pictured Next To The Xperia Z1The BlackBerry Z30 seems almost like a sure thing, especially given the amount of leaked photos we’ve seen in the past, although when exactly BlackBerry plans to make it an official product remains unknown. In any case thanks to a leaked photo that made its way onto the CrackBerry forums, the BlackBerry Z30 can be seen pictured next to the next Sony Xperia Z1 which was recently announced at IFA a couple of weeks ago. The photo above shows the BlackBerry Z30 fully powered on and appears to be at its setup page which is commonly seen on new devices, although apart from that not much else was shown.

Based on the rumored specs of the BlackBerry Z30, it is said to feature a 5” 720p HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset clocked at 1.7GHz, an 8MP rear-facing camera, and will of course run on BlackBerry 10. Once again there has been no indication as to when BlackBerry will announce the device, but hopefully it will be soon. So BlackBerry fans, are you guys looking forward to the Z30, and do you think that the device will be enough to turn things around for the Canadian company?

Huawei Ascend W3 Windows Phone Leaked

Huawei Ascend W3 Windows Phone LeakedWhen Microsoft announced their plans to acquire Nokia, they undoubtedly and understandably made a lot of their OEM partners nervous. What would the fate of Windows Phone be? Would Microsoft make it an exclusive platform and follow in Apple’s footsteps where they would control the hardware and software from start to end? Well Microsoft reassured that wouldn’t happen, and Huawei, one of their partners, reaffirmed they would continue making Windows Phone handsets, and sure enough it looks like they are keeping to their word.

A Leaked photo has recently popped up and it is allegedly that of the Huawei Ascend W3, which as you can see in the photo above, is running on Windows Phone. The handset is expected to be a mid-ranged device but will apparently sport a metal design as well, which we have to say is a nice touch and is reminiscent of the Nokia Lumia 925. Word has it that the device will make its debut at CES 2014 which is still a long way to go, so hopefully the hardware specs will keep up with the times.

Leaked Apple Video Shows How An Apple Retail Store Is Setup

Apple’s physical retail stores are a thing of beauty, fusing wood, metal, and glass into a rather sleek setup that feels clean and futuristic, a bit like their products. While we’ve seen many Apple retail stores being erected in the past all over the world, not many actually get to see what goes on behind closed doors, like how everything is set up, when products are delivered, and how Apple staff are prepped for the influx of customers walking in to check out and play around with the shiny new products.

Thanks to a leaked video, we now have an idea of what goes on behind the scenes. This video is apparently a video used internally by Apple, but somehow it has managed to make its way out of the Cupertino company’s office and onto the internet, which means there’s a good chance that Apple will find out soon enough, if they haven’t already, and probably get it taken down. If you’ve always been wondering what goes on behind the scenes at an Apple retail store and how it is all put together, you might want to check out the video above quickly before it disappears!

This Might Be the Nexus 5 Because It Looks Like That Leaked Nexus 5

This Might Be the Nexus 5 Because It Looks Like That Leaked Nexus 5

This involves a meticulous combination of dots plus a mini-leap of faith but a LG phone with the name D820 just cleared the ranks of the FCC. Usually this wouldn’t mean much to us but it does sort of, kind of look like the mysterious Nexus phone that popped up in the Android Kit Kat statue video that was pulled by Google.

Alleged Nokia Lumia 1520 “Bandit” Caught On Camera

Alleged Nokia Lumia 1520 Bandit Caught On CameraWe have been hearing rumors that Nokia could be working on a phablet of their own called the Nokia Bandit, which according to more rumors could be known as the Lumia 1520 upon its release. So far we have heard rumored specs but we have yet to see a photo, and thanks to a recent leak and a photo obtained to Windows Phone Central, we might have our first glimpse at the upcoming device. As you can see in the photo above, the alleged Lumia 1520 can be seen pictured alongside the Lumia 1020 and it is very obvious that it is a much larger device. (more…)

Alleged Porsche Design BlackBerry Z10 Components Leaked

Alleged Porsche Design BlackBerry Z10 Components LeakedWe have been hearing rumors that BlackBerry was set to announce a Porsche Design BlackBerry Z10 handset, which could also be known as the P’9982 if the rumors are to be believed. We’ve seen the leaked photos and now thanks to newly leaked photos from eTradeSupply who have managed to obtain some components of the alleged device, the photo above is apparently that of the innards of the upcoming phone. Based on what we can see, it appears that the phone will look somewhat similar internally to the BlackBerry Z10, but then again it supposedly will be based on the Z10 with some external design changes.

Of course it’s hard to tell if these are actually that of the Porsche Design, but its curved bottom certainly seems to hint at it. There’s no word on when BlackBerry will announce the Porsche Design BlackBerry Z10 but we’re guessing that the success of the P’9981 must have been compelling enough for BlackBerry to launch something similar for their BlackBerry 10 lineup. In any case with the original Porsche Design coming with a price tag of $2,000, we don’t expect the BlackBerry 10 version to come cheap either.

ASUS VivoBook X102BA leaks with 10.1-inch screen and Win 8, reportedly launching next month

ASUS VivoBook X102BA leaks with 101inch screen and Win 8, reportedly launching next month

Families are all about growing — an honest case of “the more, the merrier,” if you will. Now, according to our friends over at SweClockers, ASUS is getting ready to make its own Vivo family a little larger by introducing the VivoBook X102BA. This leaked Windows 8 PC reportedly packs some pretty run-of-the-mill specs, including a 1.0GHz, dual-core AMD A4-1200 CPU (with Radeon HD 8180 for graphics), 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. What’s also of interest here is that ASUS is said to be bundling it with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013, which would certainly be a useful tool to interested parties. Per the report, the ASUS VivoBook X102BA will launch sometime in September for around 330 euros, or about 440 bucks if you’re this side of the pond.

    [Thanks, Jacob]

Purported iPhone 5C Mute Switch And Volume Rocker Spotted In New Photos

Purported iPhone 5C Mute Switch And Volume Rocker Spotted In New PhotosEarlier we reported that photos of the iPhone 5C were leaked, showing the phone in all of its glory, and thanks to Sonny Dickson, the same blogger who leaked the earlier photos, he has posted several more photos of the iPhone 5C, although in this case it would be components of the handset, in particular that of the volume rocker and mute switch. These images are not exactly very surprising given that we have seen leaked photos in the past, but we guess that they do corroborate the earlier leaks, and in this case their colors also appear to be a bit more subdued, compared to previously where they were shown to be more bright and to a certain extent, cheap.

The volume rocker is different from the iPhone 5 in the sense that it sports a pill-like design which is similar to that of the iPhone 3GS, although to be honest this is not a bad thing as they are admittedly easier to press. The iPhone 5C is expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 5S on the 10th of September and will be the low-cost alternative for customers who might not be able to otherwise afford the regular iPhone.

Alleged Next-Gen iPad Front Panel Caught On Camera

Alleged Next Gen iPad Front Panel Caught On CameraOver the past couple of weeks we’ve seen various photos and even a video of the components of Apple’s upcoming iPad. Well now thanks to a new listing by Macfixit Australia, front panels and the digitizer allegedly that of the next-gen iPad have surfaced. Based on its design it is pretty obvious that this is an iPad component, although whether it is actually that of the next-gen iPad remains to be seen. According to the company’s supplier, they claim that this is a genuine front panel for the fifth gen iPad and shows off the same narrow side bezels we have seen in other leaks.

This seems to “confirm” that just like the iPad mini, the fifth gen iPad could sport thin bezels on its display and a somewhat similar design to the iPad mini, making it thinner than its predecessor. Their supplier also “confirms” that the display area is same as the iPad Retina, and it uses the same ITO as the iPad mini. Once again there’s no telling if this is the real deal, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information, although an announcement later this year, assuming Apple keeps to schedule, will not be entirely out of the question.
