@evleaks has done it yet again – by revealing a leaked press shot of the upcoming LG G2 that will be fully unveiled to the masses later today. The leaked press shot does point towards the LG G2’s front as well as back sides, and you can say that it is a good looking handset by far and large, without much to complain about. Hopefully it feels as good as it looks when you place it in the palm of your hand, and will the build quality be able to hold up in the long run? The leaked press shot also confirms that the LG G2 will arrive with its volume buttons located on the back, hence making this particular smartphone unmistakable in its appearance.

Earlier this morning, we did bring you word that the LG G2 is expected to be available for purchase right on launch day itself (in select regions, of course), while it was just yesterday when we saw a promotional video of the LG G2 leaked out, in addition to part of its manual making an appearance online. LG has an event scheduled for tomorrow in New York where it will be unveiling the hotly anticipated G2 smartphone. We’ve seen numerous leaks of the device, LG itself has posted a video teaser so as to get the hype going prior to the official announcement. It is not known right now exactly how long it would take for the smartphone to reach stores after it is announced tomorrow. South Korean publication MK News claims that LG might make its latest flagship device available in South Korea on the very day of the launch.

Technically, due to the time difference between New York and South Korea, the G2 would be launched there on August 8th. The publication doesn’t offer any clues regarding the U.S. release of this smartphone. Recent rumors suggest that as many as 100 worldwide carriers may offer this smartphone by October. The LG G2 is expected to have a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 5.2 inch full HD 1080p display, 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear camera. One of the much rumored features of this smartphone is said to be its fingerprint sensor, LG itself has hinted at that possibility.

The LG G2 is a smartphone that is already on the way (the official release date is said to be just a couple of days away), and its manual has just leaked out, where additional information reveals a nano-SIM standard as well as a rear unlock button. French tech blog Nowhereelse.fr is the one who supplied the slides of the alleged LG G2 manual, where it will use the nano-SIM standard that is similar to the Motorola Moto X and the iPhone 5. Other than that, there is also confirmation of a 2,610mAh battery underneath the hood, which can be removed.

Apart from that, there is also a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and a button at the back that is located between the volume buttons which happens to be a power/lock key. The LG G2 is tipped to arrive in the US later this September, and we also know of one accessory that has already been confirmed for it – that is, the LG QuickWindow case.
