Engadget + gdgt NYC liveblog

Engadget gdgt NYC liveblog

It’s been too long since we’ve thrown one of our shindigs with gdgt — and we’re changing that right this second. If you can’t make it to our bash at 82Mercer in NYC tonight, you can at least follow along with our event liveblog. Samsung is on hand with its latest gadget lineup, as is Sony, with its HD gear. That’s not to mention GoGo, Nokia and Ziphius among several other brands ready to show off their wares for attendees. We’ll be sharing the highlights, from product demos to discussions with Engadget and gdgt editors, and throwing in our snapshots throughout the night. Keep your browser parked here to catch it all. Oh, and if you’re here at the event, tweet your photos with the hashtag #engdgtNYC — we might just throw them in the liveblog!

We’re liveblogging Samsung’s Premiere 2013 event, today at 2PM ET!

Samsung’s development labs are apparently overflowing with new products. We’ve seen a number of new Galaxy smartphones and tablets over the last few weeks, but the company has more to show — or at least something notable enough to warrant its own soiree in London. We’re expecting a focus on Samsung’s Windows 8 ATIV range, most likely in several hardware options, but we’re sure there has to be something from its Galaxy family that it still hasn’t unveiled just yet. Is it a next-gen Note? An Android-powered ILC camera? Join us at the time (and link) below because we’ll be covering it all.

Tonight, the proverbial curtain will be whisked away for the largest unveiling of PlayStation 4 to date. And knowing Sony, we’ll get an earful about the PlayStation 3 and Vita in the process. Follow belong after the break as we report live from the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena — fingers crossed for massive damage jokes!

Electronic Arts E3 2013 liveblog!

Electronic Arts E3 2013 liveblog!

When EA reps took the stage at Microsoft’s Xbox One unveiling event a few weeks back, they were part of a very small group of game companies represented. The world got a first look at EA’s new sports game engine, Ignite, and a tease of what to expect come this holiday, but we’re betting there’ll be even more interesting stuff presented during the company’s press briefing this afternoon at E3 2013. A closer look at Battlefield 4 and a thorough detailing of EA Sports’ various annual franchises are locks, as is a second premiere of Respawn’s new game Titanfall. What’s got us really excited is a possible Mirror’s Edge sequel reveal. Find out with us in real time with the liveblog just below the break.
