Ghostbusters Stay Puft LEGO Set: Something That Could Never Ever Possibly Destroy Us

The 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters is almost upon us, so it seems fitting to be talking about this amazing LEGO set featuring the Stay Puft marshmallow man.

I just love this LEGO Cuusoo project created by Brent Waller, the guy behind the already approved Ghostbusters Ecto-1 LEGO kit. The details are just amazing and he even has articulated arms, legs, head, feet and hands.

This is a most impressive LEGO set and I know you think so too, so go and vote for it if you would like to see it produced.

If you don’t want this set for your very own, I’m just gonna have to revoke your geek credentials.

Great Scott: Back to the Future with a Marshmallow

This will be the best video that you see all day. It was made by Bodega Studios, a production company based out of New York and San Francisco. It is called Back to the Holidays and instead of starring Michael J. Fox, it stars a marshmallow.

I assume that you’ve unmuted the video below by now, but if not, what are you waiting for? It’s not everyday that you see a marshmallow driving a DeLorean.

This is the most amusing stop motion movie I have seen since… Sorry. Just got distracted by like a million other Vines. So where was I? Oh yeah, this is basically the coolest Vine you will see all day, maybe even all week. Or all year, since the year is almost over.

Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man Meringue Cookies: Who Ya Gonna Eat?

These edible Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men may be smaller than the 112.5 foot-tall Marshmallow Man that rampaged through New York in Ghostbusters, but they will still tread all over your taste buds if you serve them up on Halloween.

You just need some sugar, egg whites, cream of tartar and some colored icing. There is also a meringue recipe as well. These guys look so delicious.

Just remember to actually bake them. Don’t try to think them into existence. We’ve all seen what can happen when you do that.

Marshmallow Bow

If you happen to believe that falling in love would require the oft unseen Cupid sending his arrow right into the heart of your beau, with you as the intended target. Of course, one would think that such an arrow would feel painful when it “pierces” your skin, so why not settle for something that not only does not hurt one bit, but it is delicious to boot? This is where the $24.99 Marshmallow Bow comes in, where you will be able to begin a love affair with marshmallows all over again.

The Marshmallow Bow will be able to carry 25 mini marshmallows that paves the path for rapid action shooting, where it is capable of launching the mini marshmallows up to 30 feet! For most folks, projectile marshmallows are not something that you will be able to see every day. I can imagine a new competition at the office where all of your colleagues are lined up in a row, with mouths wide open, while you attempt to fire marshmallow bits into their mouths from a distance. Of course, you will need to provide your own marshmallows, and make sure the Marshmallow Bow remains nice and clean from roaches whenever it is stored away after use.

I tried to think of the most harmless thing. Something I loved from my childhood. Something that could never ever possibly destroy us…

This Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man is not here to demolish your city – in fact he’s here to help you save money, so you can start rebuilding it.

This 20-inch-tall (51cm) Stay-Puft piggy bank isn’t quite as tall as the one in Ghostbusters, but it is big enough to hold plenty of loose change and to stop around on your model railroad set. It’s actually not the first Stay-Puft bank ever made, but it’s substantially taller than the previous model, and when you’re dealing with marshmallow men, bigger is always better.

The Stay-Puft piggy bank is coming from Japan’s Blister Direct in May 2013, and will sell for ¥ 9,800 (~$119 USD). So start filling your current piggy bank now, so you can order this awesome new one to replace it with.
