Deadpool Video Game Coming and it Needs a Swear Jar

If you’re a huge Marvel comic book fan, you may be more familiar with Deadpool than I am. I grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons, so I am familiar with all the superheroes that were on when I was growing up, but I never read comic books as a kid. The only familiarity I have with Deadpool was from Ryan Reynolds portrayal of the character in the movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Now it turns out that Deadpool will be getting his very own standalone video game. The superhero had turned up in other video games the past as a playable character, but this will be his first dedicated game title. It appears to be a typical combat game with Deadpool using guns and swords. The character will be voiced by Nolan North, who also voiced Deadpool in “Hulk Vs” and “Spider-Man: Shattered Dreams”.

To go along with the announcement that the video game is coming, Activision, Marvel, and High Moon Studios released a trailer for the game at Comic-Con. The trailer shows the snarky humor that Deadpool is known for along with a lot of colorful language. Keep in mind again that the video above is NSFW thanks to language.

Marvel unveils new armor for Iron Man 3

Man meets machine at the Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego last week. Iron Man fanatics will be thrilled to know that Tony Stark’s new signature armor for the upcoming movie Iron Man 3 has just been unveiled. And judging from the photo above, it seems that the new armor is more golden than red. Iron Man 3 will be hitting theaters starting May 3 next year. And of course, it wouldn’t be that exciting if Robert Downey, Jr. will not be the one to play the role of Tony Starks, a.k.a. billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist. Unfortunately, Marvel was too careful not to reveal too much about the new armor’s cool features. So, let’s watch and drool for now as we wait for more details. What are your thoughts about Iron Man’s newest mean machine?

Marvel and Activision announces Deadpool video game

If you love the “Merc with a Mouth”, then we’ve got good news for you. Deadpool, the fictional mercenary and anti-hero created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza for Marvel Comics, will be having his own video game soon. At the Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, Marvel and Activision unveiled the upcoming Deadpool video game. American video game developer High Moon Studios, will be teaming up with Activision to bring Deadpool to your favorite consoles. As of now, the details of the game are still bleak, but it seems that Nolan North, considered as the nearest thing the games industry has to a bona fide leading man, will voice the character. While Deadpool was already featured in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, this is the first time for Deadpool to debut as the lead character in a video game.

Iron Man 3 Signature Armor: Gold and Gold and Gold and Crimson

Marvel unveiled Tony Stark’s new signature armor for the upcoming movie Iron Man 3 at the San Diego Comic-Con, and it has more gold – caramel? – than crimson. It looks like he’s molting into a golden butterfly. An alcoholic genius billionaire butterfly with jet boots.
