NEC is preparing to release a new medical LCD monitor, the MultiSync MD210C2. Designed specifically for use in the medical field, this 21.3-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor provides 1200 x 1600 (2MP) native resolution, 1400:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 40ms response time and 176/176 degree viewing angles, and features DVI-D and DisplayPort connectors, and a USB 2.0 hub. The MultiSync MD210C2 will begin shipping from October 30th for unannounced price yet. [NEC]
EIZO has unveiled another one of its upcoming medical LCD monitor, the RadiForce LX300. Designed specifically for use in the operating room, this 29.8-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor provides 2560 x 1600 native resolution, 1100:1 contrast ratio, 750 cd/m2 brightness, 20ms response time and 170/170 degree viewing angles, and has 1x dual-link DVI-D, 1x single-link DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort connectors. The RadiForce LX300 will go on sale from November 1st for unannounced price yet. [EIZO]
