Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been released, but are all copies of the game equal across the world? Apparently not, as we have learned that Ground Zeroes had gone under the knife in the Land of the Rising Sun after a decision by Japan’s game rating board CERO. Director of the game, Hideo Kojima himself, has already confirmed that Ground Zeroes had been censored in Japan.

What do we know about Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes so far? It was last year in September when the intro as well as gameplay video was first shown off to the world, before word arrived in April this year that this title will function as a prologue to The Phantom Pain, making sure that we are all on the same page when it comes to the game’s story and timeline.
