Millennium Falcon Chevy Malibu: Why Not a Ford Falcon?

You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon? It’s the car that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. I had to stop for gas like five times though. The choice of vehicle for this amazing customization is actually appropriate when you stop to think that Star Wars takes place a long time ago.

It was built by Bill Deacon from a 1974 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Classic. This image comes from Star Wars Celebration IV back in 2007, but you are seeing it now because it is super cool. That cockpit mounted on passenger-side mirror even has action figures of Han Solo and Chewbacca inside. Naturally, its license plate reads HANCHWY. Apparently it also has a TIE fighter hood ornament but apparently it’s currently out on a mission.

I hope Bill is still driving this thing. She may not look like much, but she’s got it where it counts, kid.

LEGO Millennium Falcon Prank: She Might Not Look Like Much…

How do you feel after completing a large LEGO project? Probably very proud. You feel great. It took some time and dedication, but you did it! You can do anything. It must feel awesome to complete the LEGO Millennium Falcon, which is made up of over 1,200 pieces. It is a huge accomplishment. Now you can put it on your shelf and admire it for the rest of time. Not Michael. His “friends” suck.

Micheal’s buddies Joost and Thomas completely disassembled his LEGO Millennium Falcon right after he just finished the thing. That takes guts. They even put it back into the individual bags inside the box.

These guys suck. I would have gone all Wookiee on them. Check out the video to see Michael’s reaction, which surprisingly does not include ripping Joost or Thomas’ arms out of their sockets.

Star Wars Chocolate Centerpiece: The Dessert that Made the Kessel Run in 12 Parsecs

As cool as this Star Wars centerpiece is, I have to be honest. The texture of that chocolate looks a bit off-putting. At first I thought that the Falcon was trapped in an Imperial turd trap of some kind. Anyway, despite the unfortunately lumpy look of the chocolate, it is a cool piece.

Besides, chocolate never looks so bad that you won’t eat it right? This edible centerpiece was made by Cakes Cove. It has X-Wing Fighters on it too. I don’t what they are doing flying around this thing, but I’m sure it looked good on the center of the table.  It needs some TIE Fighters though. Give those rebels something to shoot at.

You’re all clear, kid! Now let’s eat this thing and go home!

USS Enterprise vs. Millennium Falcon Jack-o’-Lantern

Worf: Captain. There is an anomaly dead ahead. Too late! We have entered a galaxy far, far away. So far away I’m not getting any accurate readings. Oh, and we are also now in a time period that the computer will only say is a “long time ago”.

Picard: What is that Worf? Is that a ship? It looks a bit like that hamburger the replicator served me for lunch not one hour ago. With a satellite dish on top. Red alert! Raise shields!

This awesome pumpkin is the only crossover between Star Wars and Star Trek that I want to see. Who would win? Picard and Kirk are a seasoned starship Captains with years on their side, but Han Solo is rough and tumble and has the reckless asset of youth. He also has a Wookiee co-pilot by his side, who could probably rip the arms off of pretty much any member of the Enterprise’s crew.

This pumpkin is from master pumpkin carver Alex Wer. Check out his entire gallery here.

Star Wars Sun Reflector for Your Landspeeder

It sucks that we have to ride around in Honda Civics and the like, they are driving Landspeeders and piloting X-Wings in a galaxy far, far away; not to mention the Millennium Falcon. But hey, you can make your car look like it is part of the Star Wars universe and protect it from those hot Tatooine suns at the same time.

This amusing Millennium Falcon vehicle sun reflector is the perfect way to protect your car and keep it looking geeky at the same time. It’s only $21.99(USD), which is a whole lot less than building your own spaceship.

Anything that makes your ride look more like the Falcon inside, complete with crew, is good with me.

Build Your Own (Mini) Millennium Falcon

We would all love to have our own Millenium Falcon, but the truth is, we just don’t have the parking space for it. Or the billions of dollars it would take to create one. However, you can build your own metallic Millennium Falcon from scratch. A tiny version, at least.

This Star Wars Metallic Nano Puzzle is made from ultra-fine laser cut metal which can be assembled step by step into a palm-sized metal model. You just remove the parts from the metal sheet and bend and fold them like papercraft art.

Star Wars Spaceship Guitars Rock the Cantina

If you like to cosplay as the Cantina Band from Mos Eisley, check out these amazing Star Wars spaceship guitars and be insanely jealous. They are  elegant musical weapons for a more civilized age.

These ships are amazing and are actual working guitars built by 64-year-old Tom Bingham. That’s quite a hobby he has and he is awesome at it. And even though people beg him, he doesn’t sell them.

Each guitar takes about three months to build and is made from parts purchased at car boot sales in the UK.

Tom has created the Millennium Falcon, Y-Wing and B-Wing guitars from Star Wars and he also has about 20 other custom designs that he’s made over the years. These could be the best guitars ever.

Millenium Falcon Turntable: Wookie Wookie

In a club far, far away, Marco of Picotek Design must be wowing the crowd not just with his beats but with his one-of-a-kind gear as well. His highly modified turntable is based on another highly modified piece of equipment: the freighter-turned-smuggler’s ship Millenium Falcon.

Marco said he stumbled upon the toy replica of Han Solo’s ship and got it for a mere $2 (USD), albeit with some of its parts missing. He stowed it away for a couple of years, then one day decided to combine it with another relic from the 70s, a Technics 1200 turntable. Marco says he’ll upload more pictures of the turntable soon.
